Generic Motel

Fifty bucks. Clean, safe, family-run, well-kept motel. Friendly owner who takes pride in providing good accommodation on a budget. Highly recommend.

My first impression of this place, and that which I gave it the final star was the price. They charge what they say they charge. There is no additional 'fees' or extra taxes.



Next, they took measures to make sure my room was heated since I had called in ahead of time and even moved a Refrigerator and Microwave into the room at no additional charge.



Internet Wifi exists, but is kind of slow. This is expected in almost any rural community.



The is a laundry room.



Yes, there is a fly swatter in the room, but I assume it is only needed during the summer.



Room was clean and the staff overly friendly and welcoming. 'Floating' channels on the television are available for the asking, in case you like a special particular television station, no additional charge either.



There was no phone in the room, but I am told that one is available for the asking. In this day and age however, who doesn't have a cell phone?



The outside of the Motel looked very clean and orderly, and while the Motel certainly does show it's age by design and structure, it is also well kept.



If you are looking for a five star hotel, with a late room service, a swimming pool, and a decent exercise room, go to the Hilton. If you want to be left alone and sleep in relative quiet at a good price, this is a good place for that.

You get a good bed and a fly swatter what more do you need if you pull in late and want a good nights sleep.
