My family moved during the summer of 2009 and were consolidating 2 households into one. When we called for a quote, we were told we had to pay for 6 hours of service--which we were understanding of. We knew that we were required to pay the 6 hour service charge, but we were lead to believe that the 6 hours was a combined time between houses...not 6 hours PER DAY to move each house!! After the move was over we were socked with a VERY expensive bill--basically twice what we were given by a phone estimate with the move scheduler. After we disputed the charges, they explained that we could have had the move done under the 6 hour stipulation if we would have moved both houses in one day rather than 2...that would have been nice to know BEFORE we moved in two and were misled and made to pay an outrageous amount for our move.



Not only were the charges outrageous, but the movers left behind the bolts to one bed and slats to another behind so we had to go to the local hardware store to buy supplies so that we could put our beds back together to have a place to sleep!!



Moving is extremely expensive to begin with without being scammed by the moving company!! I would definitely advise using any other moving company besides this one!!
