Wildlife Woods Campground

We stayed in a long term spot for a couple of months at the beginning of 2016. The office staff was rude and seem to be bothered by customer service.

We had two vehicles as my husband worked 6 days a week but the office staff wanted me to park my car on the outside of the gate and hike back and forth with my 5 month old when I needed to go out, even though our spot was large enough for both of our vehicles.

My husband forgot his gate key one day so I met him at the gate to let him in and one of the staff members came outside yelling about letting people in the gate and threatening to fine us $50, which isn't in the rules at all. We explained that he left his key and his name is on the spot but he kept talking at us from across the parking lot in front of a bunch of people causing a scene, so we just drove off.

We have since moved to cross country campground right down the street and the staff here is much more polite and helpful. I would highly recommend Cross county campground but stay away from wildlife woods.

overall cleanliness needs attention, roadways in need of repaving, older permenant campsites needs to be cleaned up. on a positive note there are several permenant sites that are very nice, needs friendly people in the office.
