The company s subsidiary, Chemetron Railway Products, has been manufacturing and operating electric flash-butt welders since 1957. Its Locomotive & Railcar Services business unit supplies axles, bearings, couplers, side frames, bolsters and traction motors to short line and transit railroad companies, as well as private car owners.
