General Info

The Charter Township of Shelby Fire Department provides fire extinguishing services. Its apparatus includes a quint truck, rescue vehicle and ambulances. The department s ambulances offer cardiac monitoring equipment and emergency medications, and are staffed with paramedical and emergency medical technicians. Its personnel are trained in a variety of disciplines, such as water rescue, hazardous materials response, confined space and rope rescue. Charter Township of Shelby Fire Department also provides a range of inspection services that include preconstruction site plan reviews, construction final inspections, existing building inspections, automatic fire sprinkler plan reviews, and fire alarm plan reviews and testing.
