Big Bam's Burgers wasn't quite what I had expected from a first glance. The outside appears very plain and outdated, but upon entering you are greeted with a nice splash of color and an efficient dining room. Make sure to check the daily specials when you enter to see items that I don't think are on the standard cleverly titled menu, i.e. Spaghetti, Salisbury Steak, Meatloaf, etc.
This place has a lot of variety but mainly caters to Burger and Sandwich lovers with their own personal takes on the perfect burger, or perfect chicken sandwich. I had the El Fuego burger (fried Jalepenos, cream cheese, and Southwest Ranch style dressing) which was a flavor explosion that some might refer to as a party in your mouth. It wasn't too spicy, yet it let me know that it was going to be something worth coming back for. The Onion Rings at this place are second to none! I was told that this place uses all Angus beef and based on the prices I would hope that's what I'm getting.
For those that have a sweet tooth make sure to ask at the register since the dessert menu is not posted and I believe changes daily. When I went there were Fried Oreos which of course I had to try due to curiousity. They came with 3 oreos, 3 small mounds of whipped cream, and some cherry pie filling. These were an absolute treat and a great ending to a delicious flavorful burger. Tart cherry filling mixed with sweet whipped cream, and the crunch of the fried oreo breading made for a real unique and delicious experience. The inside of the fried oreo is basically an oreo paste.
The value of this place is a bit expensive for a lunch stop, but has good tasting food. The onion rings were great but at $2.50 I would have expected more than just 5 averaged sized rings. My meal of El Fuego Burger, Onion Rings, and Fried Oreos was filling, but at a toll of nearly $11.
Because of the slightly elevated prices I rate this at a strong 4 out of 5 crispy delicious onion rings.

When I think of a small burger joint with a sign in front that says 'Big Bams Burgers', I envisioned a bald hefty man with rolled up greasy sleeves, sweating profusely while sitting behind a small grill flipping burgers. When I entered, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was nothing like I had imagined. The walls were painted in an exotic assortment of colors and had a menu posted that will have you drooling on your pocket protector.
The slightly overpriced meals were great and the onion rings were incredible . However, the squirrel sized portions will leave you hungry for more.
I'm giving Bams 4 out of 5 green cards
P.S -If you're the one out there wearing Maybelline Pinkalicious #55 lipstick, please clean it off your cup before leaving. (Because we've discovered that they do not sanitize their glasses)
