Best service best price I always give local places my business the guy was on time done outstanding work it's been a year no problems I would recommend this company to any one I've read all reviews so I waited a year to post mine I had no problems called they came out changed my glass with out a problem thanks American auto glass

WHAT A JOKE...AMERICAN AUTO GLASS..."BOLOGNA!!!!!" THEY SAID BE THERE AT 9...NOPE...BE THERE AT 2...NOPE...FINALLY BE THERE IN 30 MINUTES, (@6:13 P.M.)...PHONE SHUTS OFF!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! rUINED MY DAY...FAKE AMERICAN AUTO GLASS!!!!!!!ZERO STARS NO OPTION...

DO NOT HAVE THIS GUY OR ANY OF HIS COMPANIES REPLACE YOUR GLASS!!! I am only giving it a one star rating because it made me or else they would get nothing.

I agree 100% with Man M.'s review below. The exact same thing literally just happened to me. I contacted (317) 623-3936 - website www.americanglassrepairgreenwoodin.com - to schedule a glass installation on Dec 2. They came out and installed the front windshield (cashed my check on the same day). Once I got into my car I realized that it was not sealed properly on the lower bottom passenger side. I've been contacting the person at the initial number and the two numbers on my "receipt" since Dec 2. At first he answered and said yes, yes, I will be out there to fix it right now. Never came. I called the next day and he said "I had a guy lie down on me." I'll go right now. Contacted him again and there was no answer. He answered last night and said that he would meet me after I got off work and to call him on my way home. I called and called and of course no answer. I called this morning and asked to speak with an owner or manager and he hung up on me. I called back and it went straight to voice mail. I called the 877 number on my receipt and he claimed he was having trouble transferring the call and then hung on my again. This guy is nothing but a scam artist. I REPEAT - DO NOT HAVE HIM OR ANY OF HIS BUSINESSES REPLACE YOUR GLASS!!!!! Whoever you are, you would do well to remember you get back what you give out.

Please do not fall for these other reviews. I am a victim of this company. Please be aware that this one guy has different companies registered under his name with different telephone numbers and different locations (more than 5 definitely). So Seymour autoglass, american auto glasses, (1521 E Tipton St Seymour, IN 47274, phone (812) 413-9868 ), Discount autoglasses of Indiana (812-701-9367, 1877 805 0469, 317623 3936) etc are all the same. Now mind you, when you call for the 1st time he is prompt and offers service at a cheaper price than the reputed glass dealers. So here is my experience. The guy was prompt and did change my glass as he had promised. But after some days i did notice that the rear view mirror was not fixed (glued back properly) on to the new glass. Also, I could hear a increased noise from the front and believed that there is some leak somewhere. So I called back to tell home about it (mind you, he gives a guarantee on a small piece of paper with almost no information, so it is tough to call it legal). He picked up the phone 1st time and said he will take care of it. Now if he was honest and said that it would be difficult for him, i would have been ok and would not venture to give this review, but he repeatedly stated that he will take care of it and fill fire the employee who failed to come up to do the service. But there is no employee and he is just plain acting. He told me to wait twice (once in a parking lot in front of my office and once in front of my home) and stated that he will come there within half and hour. Nothing happened and after repeated calls (he does not have a set voice mail box and also we cannot text to his numbers). I then tried from a different phone number and he accidentally picked up the phone and again gave a rant about that 'virtual bad employee' and stated that he will be at my place within 30 minutes. never happened ! So at least in Indiana, go for a place that you know exists and shell out some 30 bucks etc for your piece of mind instead of this shady guy. almost all the cheaper sites online are owned by this one guy including http://americanautoglassrepairseymourin.com/. so make sure you double check all the numbers. It is easy to find as most of his numbers except the one starting with 317 has a greeting that states'for quality purposes this call..' and if not picked up ends with 'this person has a voice mail box that has not been set up. Also when you call any of these numbers listed for around Indiana under different names, don't ask the name of his company 1st instead of divulging that info 1st. I am sure he will give a different name or just state auto glasses.
