Douglas Lakeview Horse Riding Stables

The facilities are horrible and are in need of serious need of maintenance. The property was obviously not taken care of properly. Not only was the property not taken care of but so were the horses. They appeared to be malnourished and struggled most of the short trip.The trail was only about a mile and doubled back. the scenery was a disappointment, and wasn't even what should be classified as a Smokey Mountain Trail Ride. The staff was not professional at all, using foul language and calling each other disrespectful names. One staff member took off their shoes and walked around in horse mess. Upon arrival there was horse manure all in the parking lot and junk everywhere you could see. The you could see.

Beautiful ride up through the mountains. I highly recommend our guide, Kricket. She was extremely nice and helped my 8 year old granddaughter feel comfortable on the hills. Also after calling 3 times and leaving messages, she was the only one that called me back. You will have fun if you go.
