Dental Examination
X-rays
Digital radiographs are safe. Any full series of intra-oral films (about 18 films) delivers less radiation than a person receives in a month from the environment. Bite wings or a panoramic film deliver less. Digital radiographs decrease that exposure. There is no set limit to how many dental x-rays you can have.
Oral Cancer Screening

Teeth Cleaning
Gum doesn’t replace daily brushing and flossing. It’s not a substitute. To prevent tooth destruction you must remove the plaque. This is done by daily brushing and flossing. Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Floss or use other between the teeth cleaning tools once a day.

Our family dental office emphasizes restoring teeth to their original form, shape and color. We placed over 1,500 bonded, tooth colored restorations last year alone. We utilize shot-free, microabrasion and hard-tissue lasers, when possible for fillings, bonding and super-sealants. Laser energy and water are utilized to replace the dental drill and remove decay from teeth. We are into our 15th year of successfully utilizing Laser Periodontal Therapy LANAP (The no cut, non-bleeding, no suture treatment of gum disease).

Cosmetic fillings -- Alternative, natural-looking materials to conventional silver-colored fillings made from porcelain and composite resins, which are colored to match natural tooth enamel.

Veneers -- Special thin laminates, called veneers, used to cover stains, correct discolored, worn down, cracked and chipped teeth, and close unsightly gaps between teeth.
Crowns
I have been a patient of Dr. Cranska's for over a year now. I came to him in an emergency situation having two of my crown's fall out. And my former dentist's office for over 15+ years told me to just put them back in myself and they couldn't see me for two weeks. I got an appointment ASAP with Dr. Cranska. Sue took great care of getting my appointment set up and is always helpful with billing and scheduling. Dr. Cranska reviewed my situation and put my crowns back in temporarily. We had to get the inflammation out of my gums in get them in better shape before I could get new crowns. I had a cleaning with Allison, she does a great job of getting your teeth clean and your gums in good shape. Fast forward a few months, since the gums were doing better, we took impressions to make new crowns. Dr. Cranska did a great job of detailing out and explaining his plan for me throughout the whole process. His dental assistant, Angela was involved with the process as well. She was making sure that I was doing okay with everything and did a great job. My crowns are great, and my teeth and gums are in much better shape than when I first came to see Dr. Cranska. All of my interactions with the team here have been outstanding. They are friendly, professional, courteous helpful, and above all empathetic and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Cranska and his team. They are amazing. I am so pleased that I found him.
Bridges
Preserve natural teeth: With traditional dental bridges, teeth adjacent to missing teeth are normally ground down to be used as anchors for a dental bridge. Dental implants often eliminate the need to modify healthy teeth.

Surgery may also be needed to remove calcium deposits in root canals, or to treat damaged root surfaces or the surrounding bone of the tooth. Apicoectomy
There are many surgical procedures that can be performed to save a tooth. The most common is called an apicoectomy, or root-end resection, which is occasionally needed when inflammation or infection persists in the bony area around the end of your tooth after a root canal procedure.
