John has made international presentations for a pharmaceutical company on the use of anti-microbials in the treatment of infectious diseases in the emergency room. He has been a consultant for various provincial administrations and private corporations in the republic of South Africa on the treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. He did some of the first studies for 3M on the use of a polymer membrane and its use in the treatment of second and third degree burns. Tiffany is a true Floridian, born and raised in a small town north of Tampa. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Anthropology with a focus in Biocultural studies, and a Master of Science in Nursing. She has spent several years practicing as an RN in orthopedics at a local hospital before pursuing her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. Tiffany graduated from the USF’s Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is Board Certified in Adult Gerontology Acute Care with an additional certification in Orthopedics. In her spare time she is cycling (participating in 165-mile bike rides from Miami to Key West 5 times!), kayaking, and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their black lab, Spartacus.
Sciatica
Foundational Health Center has begun using ozone in addition to PRP treatments to increase the oxygen content to the stressed area of the body, taking PRP therapy to a whole new level of effectiveness. We have seen very encouraging results from this form of treatment, not only for common joint issues and wounds, but also people with various back problems such as sciatica or disc problems. This treatment, called Prolozone, aims to not only be highly effective in helping relieve pain, but to aid the healing process, possibly helping to even regenerate cartilage.

“In 2016 I visited the Young Foundational Health Center because my health was failing. I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and told I needed hip replacement surgery. When Dr. Young consulted with me, he asked what I ate on a daily basis. Even though I felt it was healthy food, it wasn't much and it lacked essential nutrients. Botox
This summer we are serial casting his legs. His physical therapist and OT has wanted to cast him for years but we were always hesitant because with his previous level of stiffness we thought the turning in of his feet would revert right back after the casts were off. The umbilical cord blood stem cells have decreased the stiffness to the point where we believe the serial casting will be an effective treatment for him. Also, when Tyce receives his Botox injections, we no longer have to put half the dose into his right hip area, so that allows us to focus on his lower left leg. Prior to the cord blood, his right hip area was almost just as tight as his left hip area, and now the Botox injections are not even needed on that side! Which is huge and definitely because of the stem cell treatments.

“I am 66 years old and for the last 5 years have been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney disease with an initial EGFR of 51. In May it dropped to 39 and then again in June to 34. I am thrilled. We are dealing with my stomach issues and hope to be able to try the fast again. I couldn’t be happier and have a better peace of mind as I do not want to spend my retirement years on dialysis. Allergies
At Young Foundational Health Center we do not do the traditional Type 1 allergy testing which most people are familiar with. Type 1 allergy testing consists of a series of pin pricks to the skin and monitoring for a resulting allergic reaction. Typically, a reaction from Type 1 testing results in a reaction in under an hour’s time as in the case of hives or breathing trouble following the eating of peanuts by someone allergic to peanuts.
