Alterations With Style

I've never experienced anything like that described in the previous negative comment. Their work is always precise and intricately thought out; it's very obvious they're experienced seamstresses. I have never had any sort of problem with either of the women who work there, as they are both extremely polite and involved in their work. They are willing to work with the customer on whatever it is that is need of tailoring, sometimes even if it's extremely complex. In the past I've also looked into price comparisons, and I've found that theirs are far more reasonable than most other facilities that perform alterations (particularly Dillard's, coincidentally) and I've never been disappointed with their work. They have always explained to me anything I've been confused about price-wise and are wonderfully patient people. I swear by this company, and the environment is never anything less than professional.

If I could give a proper review of this joke they call a quote and quote business Alterations with Style this place would receive no stars for a review.



*** People I strongly urge and advise you if you need alterations or anything done with your clothes to take them to another business and stay clear away from this place!



Personally experiencing and witnessing how this business operates they give Italian business persons a bad name and this is frankly a slap in the face to all Italians out there.



They give a quote for a job then if they change something they wont give you a new receipt for cost of a job with your approval. I witnesses that.



Jim N. from above - there was never any male at location and your account is a bunch of bull. The sheriff that shown up stated a good business would not operate the way this place does. The only issue was that it did business unethically!



Alterations with Style should receive a 0 out of 5 star rating because WHEREAS they:



1. Do false advertisement advertised being "the best price guarantee doing alterations in town" per the website they own.



*** Through David's Bridal another place whom does do alterations in the area they would have charged 130.00 dollars for the same work they done on the dress they charged 225.00 for. If double the price is okay with you paying by all means take your clothes here. And, whereas:



2. The owners operate doing price profiteering without calling you back making you pay in case double price for an alteration without notice of change in a quote they give you. They do what they term an "open contract." If your not familiar with this basically that means they will operate on basis to do a service and if it far off exceeds what price range they quote then the customer will pay for any price they want to charge.



*** My in law was quoted price of $125.00 to do an alteration of my wife's wedding dress. Never once did they EVER call her nor my end to ask if doubling price on the quote of an alteration was okay. Other reviews online I found in case of this business has time and time again done this to other people. This is wrong and is not right! And, whereas:



3. The owners are rude and inconsiderate to customers and even make threats then will lie to your face about they didn't do that in that way. Doing as the owner and her daughter whom run this joke of a business have done they both do a poor job communicating to customers of prices, they are very unprofessional, and to call the cops upon a repeat customer whom they have taken money from without issue not only wasting taxpayers money for pathetic issue of not wanting to accept money for service goes without precedence to the greater issue these people don't know much about business and how to keep customers.



These people have been reported to the U.S. Better Business Bureau.





Stay clear away!!!

Great business and do perfect work!



I was there the day the individual below was there starting trouble. I witnesses the entire exchange. These "people" had to be escorted from the premises by the Sheriff for almost starting a riot over being asked to to provide identification for writing a check. Talk about white trash!



Folks, I take thousand dollar suits to this shop on a regular basis and the work they do is impeccable. I'm in banking and have to represent our brand properly. The prices are fair and reasonable and the work they do is the best in town. I've tried other tailors and none do work like Alterations with Style.
