After taking in 2 TV s and a PC for an ESTIMATE in October 2nd, 2012 for our insurance due to a Lightning Strike Claim, we were charged $45 for each unit just to provide the estimate, not really sure why but, ok, whatever. After several weeks I went back to pick up the estimate and found out that they had fixed the TV s, charging me over $500 when all I ever wanted was an estimate. They claimed they could not estimate the service without fully repairing it. Noticing the PC had never moved from the location I dropped it off at, I inquired as to its status and the reply I received was a smug oh those arent worth fixing, your better off just buying a new one. When I asked what I had paid $45 for when I dropped it off the reply I received was: for what we just told you.



After bringing them home I noticed they had kept my wall mount screws there. After a trip back to the store I returned home to set up my repaired TV s. I plugged them in and guess what! NEITHER TV WORKED!!! . Trekking back to the hell that is their business I had to leave my TV s again. Finally after another week was able to pick them up this time verifying they worked before I left and after having to pay another $100 for one of them (despite the fact that they have a Guarantee on their service).



Finally I had 2 working TV s, a NON Working PC and a Total out of pocket cost of $635.01. All I need is the Affidavit of Lightning Loss notarized for the insurance claim (one for each unit). This became a new living hell trying to get this document!



Months went by with weekly phone calls and monthly visits begging them to please have the document signed and notarized. Finally I started doing research on the operator (Nathan Robert Flomberg) and found out I was not dealing with an above board individual - Ill just leave that at that. Every week I would get new excuses and promises.



Remember folks, this is just 3 simple documents that needed to be signed and notarized. You and I would have run to the UPS store and got it done in 10 minutes but not Nathan Robert Flomberg, no, no, no.



He was clearly hoping I would give up and go away. But no! Not now! Now this was a mission! Nathan ripped me off from the get go (charging me $45 for no service at all), and I for damn sure, wasn t going to let him win by making me eat the cost without getting a insurance reimbursement. I was now on a quest to get these 3 simple documents notarized.



I offered to meet Nathan at Amscot to get the docs notarized. He declined stating that he would just get it done. After repeated requests over several months again for the docs he replied I can t read them can you resend them After recopying them and scanning them and hand delivering them he still would not get it done. Finally after discussing my disparage with a friend in the insurance business he agreed to take his partner, whom is a notary, to BRANDON TV to get Nathan to finally sign off. Acting as my insurance adjuster he was able to finally got the documents signed but almost failed to get them notarized when it was discovered that Mr Flomberg didn t even have a valid ID. (Google Nathan Robert Flomberg, you ll find out why). Nevertheless they notarized the doc anyway knowing my struggle with this moron.



Finally in April of 2013 I had the documents I needed to get my $635. 7 Freaking Months it took to beg this company and NATHAN ROBERT FLOMBERG (google him, really) 3 simple documents after paying them in full for shoddy service.



Experience- HORRENDOUS!

Recommendation- RUN!



Finally, If you made it this far you can understand my frustrations with Brandon TV. Now understand that this all took place NEARY A YEAR AGO and I am still this infuriated over the way I was treated. NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! GO THERE PEOPLE!!!

My story is the same as many of the other reviews. Shame on me for not looking at these reviews prior to taken my TV to this shop. I took my TV to the shop in August and was told that it would be repaired in several days. I like many other called repeatedly asking about the status of my TV. Every time I was told that someone would get back in touch with me, but never did anyone every call. I visited the store on several occasion and asked to speak with the Owner/Manager. Several months passed and nothing was resolved with my TV. I went back to the repair shop and demanded that my TV be but back together so that I could take it to another repair shop. I picked my TV up on the 14th Of December. My TV was returned to me with additional problems other then what I turned it in for.

Horrible service

I do not recommend anyone to take anything over there. Overly priced and deff sucks at repairs. They said it wil take a few days to get a tv repaired and 6 months passed by and never heard anything. Stopped by multiple times and they said the piece that had to be replaced was hard to find. They are liars. Called up the company that made the tv and they had plenty of those replacements. So I went back to pick up the tv and the tv was all apart in this dirty hell hole they have. Was told the tv will be put together in 4 days so I waited and when I went to go pick it up 7 days later it still wasn't put together. By this time I was frustrated. So was told give then another day an so I did. When I picked up the tv unfixed the screws were all out and my $4000 tv looked like it was beaten up. I have a tech coming to my house which cost half of what they wanted to charge me. Guys please call your tv manufacture and tell them what's wrong with your tv. Most of the time they will cover the repair free of charge or if not its half the cost of this horrible place.

Not to be trusted.

I took a Vizio there which had a Volume problem. According to the internet it was one of the few problems with Vizio's and should be easy to fix. I was told I needed to leave a 35.00 deposit which would be returned if the set was fixed. I did not have my wallet and tol them "you have the TV. Fix it and adjust the bill accordingly". The partner then came over and stated that the deposit for this TV was 65.00 not 35.00 and the would not work on the TV until they had the deposit. I have a problem with someone who wants me to trust them with my 500.00 TV but wont trust me for 35.00. Oh I'm sorry now it's 65.00.

I took my TV home made one phone call and Doctoronics is coming over Friday to fix the TV. 40.00 charge for items which just can't be fixed.-GQ

Do NOT go here!!!! Dishonest with a RAP SHEET to prove it!

Took our 65" in to be repaired. They had to "order a part" to see what was wrong with it and that would take about a week to come in. They never called us once! After two weeks, it was fixed-which I found out by calling them, not them calling me. Took it home and it seemed to work fine. A few days later, the same exact problem occurred again. Lamp light was red on the front and there was sound and no picture. We didn't want to go back there again, but it was under warranty. Same story again. Ended up having to block number from their caller id to get them to answer. Again, they were waiting on a part to see what was wrong. After three weeks of not being able to get a hold of them (their machine doesn't take messages and the phone is usually busy) we went down to get the tv back, fixed or not. Elliott Flomberg was there and claimed he was just "helping out and watching the place" but couldn't get our tv out of lockup, as he didn't have keys. Asked him to call someone and get the keys and he refused. We finally called the police, but it was taking them a while to show up. Elliott was in a hurry to leave so he called 911 and claimed we were holding him hostage. The police arranged things so that we could have them escort us the next morning to get it when "the guy" with the keys would be in. Turns out, Elliott is the OWNER of the place! His son Nathan was "the guy" who had the keys. He just happens to have a little rap sheet on the Hillsborough County Sheriffs website, as does his wife. Hers is much smaller though.

Bottom line.......these people are liars and BS artists! We were screwed out of $300+ and have a tv that still doesn't work. Now we have to find someone else to clean up the mess these people have made. That's assuming it doesn't cost more to fix it than it's worth at this point. NEVER seen such a nasty business. Smoking everywhere, don't show any respect towards the customer, etc. Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! They are definitely being reported to the Better Business Bureau. If the owner is such a liar, imagine what his multi DUI, drug possessing son must really be doing. Amazing they made us wait til 9:30am to get the tv, yet every day at 7am the doors are wide open with the tv's on. PLEASE DO NOT waste your money and bring on the major headache that this place causes!

Don't trust Brandon T.V. in Seffner

We took our laptop here because the hinge of the screen was broken, althought the computer worked perfect! We told them that the computer was under insurance and we just needed them to fill out the form to let the insurance company know that the hinge was broken. When we picked the computer up it was a different computer with ports that were never on our computer before. Also, it was an XP when our copmputer was Vista. On top of that, the computer they said was ours wouldn't even turn on as they said it was fried. During the argument the guy made the comment that we shouldn't care since we were getting a new one from the insurance, but we don't have access to anything that was on the computer...and he was stealing! He had the nerve to offer to do a recovery backup to get our info off of it. Of course, he couldn't do that while we were there. Their Better Business Beraeu report says it All!!! They have an "F" rating due to so many complaints among other things. We will repost an update after ther civil suit.
