Dental Examination
Following your cleaning, Dr. Yeates will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and mouth, review any x-rays that have been taken, and provide you with a report on your oral health. At this point, a new appointment will be made for a future cleaning, or you’ll discuss options for treating any dental issues that have been discovered during the cleaning and examination.
X-rays

Our dental office performs tooth extractions on a regular basis, and we work hard to make sure you are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire procedure. We’ll provide you with a local anesthetic for general tooth removal, and a general anesthetic for wisdom teeth removal. For clients who have anxiety about having dental procedures done, we can offer you additional medications and comfort measures to help you relax during the procedure. We’ll work quickly to remove your tooth and ensure there are minimal bleeding and discomfort. Following a tooth extraction in our office, you may take over-the-counter pain medication to reduce the discomfort that is common after the anesthetic has worn off. For wisdom teeth extractions, stronger prescription medication is often needed to manage the discomfort following the procedure.
