        Opened in 1990, Parkview Elementary School is an educational institution that provides a range of learning opportunities for students. It is a public school that has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. Parkview Elementary School s academic curriculum includes classes in art, computer technology and physical education. The school offers guidance counseling services. It administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Parkview Elementary School provides instructive sessions in media education. It also conducts the Title I program, as well as offers food services. The school s building features a gymnasium, library, cafeteria, computer laboratory and over 30 classrooms. Parkview Elementary School has a partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America to provide before- and after-school programs. It works with a team of nearly 60 staff members. The school is governed by Sedalia School District 200, which manages several elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer sports activities, such as football, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis, softball, swimming, cross-country, and track and field.
