M-Tek Roofing & Remodeling

He goes by Tim Torrone or Timothy Mundy. If you see any business in the Sedalia Missouri area with the name Tim Torrone or Timothy Mundy, avoid any business under the names. He's dishonest and I'm not the only person who's been adversely affected by him. He also apparently had a business in Springfield.

1. I was told by Tim, the owner initially that the work would be completed in one day on Nov. 7. It's taken 5 days and the work is not done.
2. I have received no receipts for labor or materials.
3. I called in early december and got a receptionist who told me Tim would call me back. He didn't.
4. The last time I spoke to Tim personally, he told me workers would be at my house to do about three hours of work before sunset. They never showed.
To date, I have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General, and will contact the BBB on December 11. I have added pictures that shows the work yet to be done to the north and upper south side of the house, soffit and facia and a porch deck that is supposed to be completed.
I'm a dyed in the wool capitalist and don't wish to harm small business. But when paid, I expect results from that business. I called Tim on Dec. 10 to inform him to call me or I'd revise my posting on YP. He didn't so I am.

Had a great experience with M-Tek, and would (and have) highly recommended them to friends! Our basement had a sewer line back-up and we had M-Tek come in to basically re-finish our basement. Tim (the owner) was professional, honest, and extremely helpful! He told it how it was, and helped us out in getting the right materials for the job. His workers were timely, professional, and skilled in their work. The work was finished quickly, which was incredible because all of this happened over the Thanksgiving holidays. Our basement looks better than ever!

This business is great! Everyone was nice and respectful, they always clean up after everyday and there work is great! I would recommend them to anyome

These people were hired to do the roofing at an old lady's house, after they did the roof a verbal agreement was made to do the guttering for $500, they took the money and never returned, they refused to answer telephone calls. After calling them with a different number they made several empty promises to come over but they finally came over to do two of the three sides of the house after they read this review. At the moment we are waiting for them to finish the job.

M-Tek roofing did and excellent job on my roof. The owner is very friendly and professional. He took the extra time to explain every aspect of the job. The overal price was very reasonable. They completed the the work in a timely matter and cleaned up the yard and made sure we were satisfied with the work. I highly recommend them. Gary Kidwell
