And so a love of glass was born. Peter David started Peter David Studio, Inc in 1975. Since then, Peter's studio has been an avenue of exploration into the world of glass in its many forms. Years of experimentation and study have brought him and his excellent staff through the disciplines of stained and leaded glass, etched and carved glass, fused and cast glass, and sculptural neon. The studio focus has been on glass in architecturally functional forms as well as personal explorations of inner visions expressed as autonomous art works. Over the years, Peter has taught many classes and individuals the wonders of glass in art and architecture. Numerous published articles have featured his work throughout the world.The studio, near downtown Seattle, WA is a 6, 000 plus square foot facility with an office, showroom, and gallery. Our custom built glass etching, melting, and finishing equipment meet the requirements of our broad range of glass crafting skills. Diamond saws, drills, and grinding equipment are used to fashion the finished work. Metal working, painting, custom finishing and shipping departments provide many in house capabilities.
