        Services Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough checkups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best: Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures by state of the art electronic monitors and our veterinary technicians. Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to board certified internal medicine specialists who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases. Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We now offer digital dental x-rays to help identify your pet's oral problems. Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists. Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing,tooth extractions and oral surgery. We now offer state of the art digital dental radiographs to allow us to properly diagnose your pets' dental health problems. Our staff members have spent many hours of continuing education in the dentistry field. Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. Permanent identification: We offer HOMEAGAIN microchip identification as a permanent identification. Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.         Dr. Liles and his staff have cared for my pets for over 20 years. Our experience is that he is able, affable, and available when my fur babies needed emergency treatment, boarding, or for their regularly scheduled appointments. He is professional, very competent, has cared for my dogs after hours on multiple occasions, and his staff have been courteous and sweet to all of us. We are extremely lucky to have Liles Animal Clinic in Searcy.

        Our experience at Liles Animal Clinic was truly one of the worst pretenses of animal care that I have ever seen. The employee at the front desk was rude and dismissive and the doctor is clearly incompetent when it comes to working with cats. His manhandling of my kitten, who is only 6 months old and weighs about two pounds, was completely unnecessary, and was traumatic for our pet. The doctor showed no interest in checking our cat for healthiness, and had to be asked to do a routine checkup, giving our cat a cursory once over before ushering us out of the room. He then had to be asked twice if he even wanted our pet's shot records for his files, when on the phone his receptionist said that this was necessary. Clearly, this veterinary practice needs to specialize in dogs, because not two minutes later this same vet was gushing over a dog that came in the waiting room, when he didn't even bother to introduce himself to our cat or let our cat get comfortable with him before putting him in a hold. Furthermore, the woman helping the doctor to manhandle our cat left two minutes in, and by that time our cat was so frightened, that I had to step in to help hold him, causing me to get scratched. If I could rate the experience 0/5 stars, I would. We will not be returning.
