They give you a high offer on your home and then a team of inspectors come into your home to check it all over and make a report on what if anything needs to be done. When the email you their findings they deduct from their offer everything they claim needs to be fixed. They told me my roof on my patio needed to be replaced and deducted $1700 from their offer, plus other things and the total deduction ended up being around $6700. I called a roofer and he came out to look at our roof and told us it was fine. He asked me if someone was purchasing my home and I told him Opendoor made me an offer. He told me and showed me pictures of my roof and said it was fine and not to spend any money on my roof. They also tried to charge me for boxes in the garage that we were taking and also toys and furniture in the back yard. I wanted to purchase a home that they were selling and I had an inspection which showed quite a few items that needed to be repaired and they didn't want to repair anything.
This company is a rip off. I would not recommend anyone doing business with them
