Custom Maid

I have used Custom Maid many times over many years and recommended them I don't know how many times. They are great! Fast friendly and flexible. My girlfriend is pretty high maintenance and she gave them a big thumbs up. If she's happy, I'm happy.

We used Custom Maids approximately 2 years ago (but for a period of many years). We have not changed homes since then, nor has the number of occupants changed since then. Both the maids and the owner have been to our condo. I contacted them again two weeks ago and asked for a quote: I was told 90 flat for the entire job. I specified that I wanted them to use my own products and appliances. We agreed on 90 dollars. The maids showed up--at what time I am not sure, since it was a flat rate I did not pay attention. AT one point I found that they put a pair of dirty shoes bottom down on my clean couch! I did not pay attention to how fast they were working or what exactly they were doing (although it seemed to me that they were working slowly) since I thought that the owner was an honest man and that he would stick to his price. About an hour into the cleaning the maids started saying that I needed to pay by the hour and that the house was very dirty (it had been thoroughly cleaned just 10 days before). They wasted time on the phone with their boss. Then, without finished the job they demanded payment and said that they were leaving. They wasted more time sitting outside while I spoke with their boss. He told me that he "gave them an A for effort" for trying to renegotiate. Then he started telling me that he should have charged me more because my condo was bigger than he thought (remember that he has BEEN to my condo and that his service cleaned it for years, so they knew the size). I paid the agreed amount expecting that he would sort things out. He said that he would call me the next morning and did not. This is a very dishonest company that tries to charge more after they have agreed on a price. The maids left many areas unfinished or poorly done and did very dirty things like putting shoes on a couch.
