Fillings
Tooth colored fillings were first used in the early 1980â€™s and have now become the state-of-art material for tooth fillings. There has been a debate the last few years over the traditional amalgam or mercury fillings that have been used for over a hundred years. Dr. Michael Kelly of Aesthetic Dentistry of Scottsdale has made the decision to offer only the tooth colored fillings to their patients. Amalgam fillings may have been the choice at one time, but they have been used since the Model T was being driven.
Resin Composite
Direct bonding â€“ With bonding, Dr. Kelly utilizes composite resin to address defects such as minor cracks and chips. This process is additive in nature, with our dentist applying this tooth-colored material directly to affected areas, resulting in a resilient and conservative restoration method.

Crowns
Inlays and Onlays are lab made fillings that fit into the tooth like a puzzle piece. Providing strength like a crown, but much more conservative. They are porcelain/ resin material that feels and looks just like a tooth. When placed into the teeth, they actually disappear and are very hard to detect in the tooth.
Bridges
Dental Bonding
Cosmetic Bonding is a procedure whereby composite resin restorative material is added to the surface to teeth to repair chips, color, shapes, and spaces between teeth. Cosmetic bonding is less expensive than porcelain veneers. This technique is not as long lasting as porcelain veneers and will need to be replaced or resurfaced periodically.

Root Canal Treatment
