Union County Park Maintenance is one of the divisions of the county s parks and recreation department. It preserves and improves county parks and recreational facilities, provides technical resources to ensure smooth operation, and offers various custodial and janitorial services. The division also develops plans for renovations and new constructions. Union County's public park system has more than 30 parks and recreational facilities spread on an area of over 5,000-acres. It organizes a number of activities, including hiking, walking, horseback riding, fishing, ice-skating, swimming, and a variety of family programs. The parks have facilities, such as boating, fitness trails, golf course, swimming pools and a stable.
