Community Hospital Outpatient Center, Schererville

DO NOT GO TO Community Hospital Outpatient Center. This place is all about money and just wants to keep billing you're insurance for you to keep coming in and them not giving you the proper meds that will do the trick to get you well. If you are going to go DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT get seen by or deal with Dr Mark A Feldner. This guy is a complete jerk, arrogant and has a very nasty unprofessional know it all attitude. He does not listen to the patients and does not want to give you what you need to get well. I went one week and they gave me some meds that worked for a short term than it came back 9 days later after my visit. I called and asked for a doctor to prescribe some antibiotics and they say you have to come back in again. I was like I was just there not even a week and a half ago. So I go in the next day AGAIN and see this idiot 4 eyed joke of a Doctor in Mark Feldner and I asked him for some antibiotics because I know for a fact that it works and I have used them time and time and they never once disappointed me. This dumb doctor literally refused to give me any saying I don't need them and that he's not going to be told what to do by his patients etc. Talking about you only had this cold for one day so it's not at all necessary. I'm like dude I been here twice first it was my throat than it's my throat again with a cold attached to it what do you mean its one day? I'm thinking like how is this man gon tell me about my body and know more about my body how it works better than me? The jackoff literally gave me Bromphenir-Pseudoephed-DM SYR which in lamer terms is nothing but Sudafed. So let me get this straight I just had my insurance billed twice in less than a 2 week period for some Sudafed? I could of went to Walgreens or CVS and got this. I asked the jerk off what do I do if this doesn't work and guess what he says? Come back and see us again or follow up with you're personal doctor. Are you kidding me? I will Never step foot back in there again.

I called to get an estimated cost for putting tubes in my son's ears. Three years prior it was ~4k, but nobody in the billing, surgery center (where the procedure is done), Don Fesko's office or anyone else my wife and I could speak to would give even so much as a range of cost, like 7-10k depending on the doctors needs for this routine surgery. We didn't even receive any call backs. I will NEVER use this low class suburban garbage dump for so much as a flu shot in the future. Chicago hospitals are 20 min away and employ the some of the worlds best. The best don't work in Northwest Indiana, I assure you! BTW, the bill came to 8k. Guess that is why they wanted to keep it such a secrete but I would never have paid it to a bunch of bumpkins. I would have rather paid it plus more to a better organization. Shame on Community Hospital.

Doctor was insensitive and sounded like she was reading from a script. Nurses and staff were rude and acted like I was a bother. Would NOT recommend this place.
