Kobernick Anchin is a Jewish retirement community that provides both independent living and assisted living to senior citizens. It has more than 200 private rental apartments for retirees in Sarasota, Fla. Its assisted living residence is a memory support wing, which is dedicated to the special needs of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Its apartment has various features, such as air conditioning, cable hookup, emergency call system, wheelchair access, wall-to-wall carpeting and 24-hour staff contact. It provides other amenities, such as rehabilitation services, recreation room, private dining room, exercise room, library, pool, Jacuzzi, housekeeping, parking, transportation and elevators. It provides balanced and gourmet kosher meals and organizes various fundraising events.
