Bru's Wiffle

I liked it. I came across it while driving down Wilshire waiting for my next meeting. It was empty but it was like 10 am on a Tuesday but not too long after I was there more people came. The Dwight special which I believe is the house favorite was tasty huge portions definitely shareable well maybe for two women not men. They served illy coffee a little weak but good still. Oh the water was a delight -- cucumber water -- yummy and refreshing. Overall this was a good stop will come again. Considering a waffle party..hmmm just a thought :-)

My wife and I were driving thru Santa Monica and by chance stopped here for a late breakfast. Being our first time here I ordered the most popular (chicken and waffles - white meat only) - Excellent. My wife ordered the Popeye which does not come with chicken (as the menu identifies), She was satisfied but felt some chicken was needed on her plate. She plans on ordering the A.m. Protein on the next visit becuase it comes with chicken. The food is good. You may have to wait a few minutes on the weekend since it is popular but it was worth it for us.

A bit of a novelty/gimmick. And a knock off Roscoe's novelty at that. Few dishes don't have chicken, really missing a lot of staple brunch items. And neither their chicken or waffles are amazing. Maybe it's just too new but the atmosphere is more about selling t-shirts than character. The food was good once, boring the second time.
