Provided by DexKnowsI eat at The Compound every time I am in Santa Fe. The food, atmosphere and service are exactly what you would expect from a fine dining establishment in a laid back town. Nothing stuffy - but all good!

I have to disagree with the other hateful reviews. The compound exceeded my expectations, boasting an outstanding lunch and dinner menu and a staff that is more than willing to guide your dining experience. The environment is very inviting and the food is out of this world! As a local Santa Fean, I feel that the Compound provides the best fine dining experience that Santa Fe has to offer and could possibly be the best in the southwest.

I find The Compound Restaurant to be the best restaurant in Santa Fe. It is timeless, romantic, classic and above all - friendly. The food is carefully prepared and the flavors are out of this world superb! I have experienced many meals both in the restaurant and at the bar and each time I there I can't wait to return! It is definitely worth it!

Provided by DexKnowsBy the far the best restuarant in Santa Fe. I have spent many hours enjoying the affordable meals at The Compound. The service is flawless, knowledgable, and professional. The bar is a great place to see friends and have a lighter dinner. And I absolutely love the patio in the summer - there is NO street noise. Definitely recommend for lunch, dinner, or just a drink.
