My husband and I booked a vacation rental through Coastal Hideaways to treat his parents on their 40th Wedding Anniversary. We selected Sunset Serenity because of its incredible views and amenities. The accommodations were luxe; the over sized king size bed was so comfortable, we wished it was our own. Our entire experience with Coastal Hideaways was world class from start to finish. Melissa was kind enough to provide an alternate way to obtain our key for the unit since the Avon Race for the Cure was clogging the main arteries of transportation through Montecito. The welcome gift (a scrumptious bottle of Pinot Noir) was thoughtful and added to the overall pleasant experience we enjoyed! My family has rented from CH before and we were very happy then and are even more pleased to have another delightful experience. The properties are wonderful and the service is delightful

My husband and I have used Coastal Hideaways on several occasions and each time the properties & experiences have been wonderful. The homes are ideally located, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could ever think of needing. All questions and concerns are answered promptly with Tracy, a lovely, detailed professional that helped us with all the arrangements, even making suggestions where to go and what to see while staying in Santa Barbara. The cleaning staff were efficient and thorough, even putting a note under each bed stating "they thought you would check under the bed"! (Yes, that's right, I checked under the bed!) The owner, Melissa Pierson, prides her self on exceeding the expectations of her clients with a professional team that is dedicated to ensuring memorable stays. It's like a good friend has made all the arrangements for you so there is no need to worry about anything. My husband and I strongly recommend Coastal Hideaways

We were very pleased with the cleanliness, totally updated bathrooms and kitchen and the 2-3 block proximity to the Ocean for morning walks is fantastic. The location made it easier to take local streets to drive to restaurants and hiking trails versus using the Freeway (101). Also, it is located on a very quiet street. We would rent it again and we've had a lot of experience renting a number of houses in Santa Barbara.

We had a lovely visit in the Seaside Cottage! Coastal Hideaways staff communicated clearly and were very helpful. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We did run into a small problem (no one's fault, sometimes houses have issues!) that was handled promptly and professionally. Our security deposit was refunded quickly and in full. We'll be back!

Coastal Hideaways accommodated my request for an interim rental due to construction delay on my home with professionalism, courtesy and wonderful expediency. I loved the comfortable and intimate Villa Valerio unit - beautiful country furnishings and decor, charming details such wood beam ceilings and ample books to enjoy, and every item and thoughtful comfort one may need to for an extended stay. The unit was budget and child friendly and served as a tranquil haven and abode during an important transition for our family from renting to owning. Office personnel returned our deposit within a week and were very kind and communicative throughout the stay. Thank you so much

A very nice place with a reasonable price. I stayed there for three weeks; thanks to the help of the rental office The only downside is the isolation since there is no place to buy food within a walking distance. However, Ventura is about 14 min driving.



I am really considering going back again

We stayed at Terrace Vista for most of the summer. Loved the well-appointed kitchen, and enjoyed the ocean view from the porch. The website pictures accurately portrayed how nice the place was inside. Also, the Coastal Hideaway staff was helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay. Overall, a pleasant place and a pleasant experience

Heaven! We booked a stay at "Simply Paradise" though Coastal Hideaways for Christmas 2013 and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. The staff at the Coastal Hideaways office were pleasant and helpful and the house... oh the house! it really was paradise - perched high in the hills, near the botanic gardens, it had breathtaking vistas of the coast line and twinkling city below. Two master suites, with balconies, two lovely bedrooms with shared bath, open kitchen, living room, dining room, den - all surrounded by outdoor decks, patios with grilling station and hot tub (so great after a long hike in the hills!). When we returned home, I phoned to ask how long it would be for the return of our deposit- it was mailed promptly in full and included a reduction in vacation rental tax amount that we had not expected. Fair, honest friendly. We will revisit with Coastal Hideaways often.

We loved our stay in Cape Cod Cottage. It was even more beautiful than on the photos! Very well equipped and in a quiet location. The staff was very nice and did not charge us for a (accidentally) soiled tablecloth. We would always rent from them again.

Home was beautiful, and nicely equipped. Staff at Coastal Hideaways was extremely helpful and pleasant. Will use again, and highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the bird watching townhouse for about a month and a half in January/February 2015. We loved the place and called it home after a couple of days. It is facing an open space with trees and grass and a walking distance to the beaches and clifs of Goleta. There were endless trails we could take and we loved our daily walks.



It is very close to a shopping area and restaurants. Less than half a mile from Costco. Also walking distance to UCSB and a short drive to Santa barbara.



The rental office stuff were very nice welcoming and fast responsive to any issue we had (none major). We loved the place and will stay there again when we have an opportunity.

The location, amenities, and thoughtful provisions by the owner were hard to beat. But not even the kind owners were responsible for providing the Pacific Ocean just down the street! Island View Hideaway was fabulous! Our stay-cation was perfect in every way except one -- I wish we could have stayed there forever!! We have raved about our time there to everyone, and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Coastal Hideaways, too, who were easy to work with and very accommodating.

I have rented three homes from Coastal Hideaways in the last two years. My experiences with Melissa and her team have been fantastic. The service is personalized and the selection of homes is great. We will continue to use this company in the future and would recommend it to friends and family.

What a beautiful home and location! Thank you for allowing us to spend this month here. The yard, interior comforts and aesthetics mean a lot to us. We are taking very good care of your place, and recognize that this is not just a rental, it is indeed, a home. It has been wonderful for me in the kitchen to experience using the Viking range - even better than mine at home - and to be in a kitchen that is not bare bones and has spices, plastic wraps, and fully outfitted with all the implements and tools to cook with. Your cupboards full serving pieces have given me a sense of the woman at the helm of this kitchen and her history of cooking and entertaining.

Love that dining room chandelier and the space to read and relax in in the master bedroom. All has been done with great thought, care, and effort.

We want to thank you for allowing us to rent Dolphin\'s Cove. My family had a wonderful time. The house was perfect. Everything about it made us feel at home. We loved the way the house was decorated to honor the spirit of Christ. My sister\'s inlaws were very impressed. They lived and grew up in Santa Barbara and other parts of California but had never been to Carpinteria. They bragged to all of their family and a couple of them asked for your information. We gladly gave it.



Your placed helped to make our Christmas get-together a big success. The kids as well as the adults enjoyed the outside games as well as the short and beautiful walk to the beach. Everything was perfect. Thank you for not only making the planning of this vacations so easy but also for having such a beautiful home we all enjoyed.

We stayed at the property called "Downtown Treasure" in Santa Barbara - 3 bedroom/3 bathroom Craftsman for a week in March.



The house is lovely - just as elegant and charming as pictured. Every bedroom has a gorgeous bathroom of its own. It is one block from shopping and 3 blocks from a great grocery store and 10 blocks or so from the beach. (Easy, flat bike ride to everything) We rented bicycles from SB Bikes to go (they deliver same day!) and biked everywhere with our kids.



The house was impeccably clean when we arrived and very well stocked with towels, sheets, beach towels, hangers, blankets, dishes, silverware, glasses, Tupperware, pots and pans.



Coastal hideaways has been a pleasure to work with. Very responsive. (My husband sat on the toilet seat and it broke and within 24 hours, coastal Hideaways had it fixed). When we called with inquiries - they immediately responded.



We will definitely be renting this property again soon. It really could not have been more perfect.

My husband and I spent the summer 2,500 feet above Santa Barbara with a view and a home that could not have been better. Working with Coastal Hideaways was a pleasure we look forward to doing again.

Had two great vacations the past two Junes: My mom (88) came to visit and my family stayed with her in a vacation home since my house is too small for her to stay with us. Last year rented a lovely place near the Biltmore Hotel and this year I was able to get a place downtown at the last minute as other arrangements had fallen through and my daughter was graduating from City College. The house was convenient to get to for my family who came from out of town, and to go shopping and activities on State Street that my mom could either walk short distances to or go in the wheel chair. The staff were great, the homes beautifully appointed, and the minor problem with the diswasher this year was fixed in a jiffy. Melissa was charming and her staff friendly and competent when I had questions. I would definitely book with Coastal Hideaways again.
