A bankruptcy is a very scary, stressful time and they helped us navigate and ultimately get through a rough time. Amy Stocking, and Ron Glines are the epitome on professionalism and were always there for us with any questions and concerns. They made things so much easier!

Unfortunatly auto accidents happen, and when your out of state your auto has been totaled and you have injuries you look for help. My first call to an Auto Accident Attourney was answered by a young lady (possibly receptionist) who advised me to don't settle for six months and if your still hurting after that call me back!! REALLY. So i did some asking around and the young lady at the tow yard where our auto was impounded recomended Craig Swapp &Associates, i gave them a call and the next day i had an appointment with Derek Sanders who came to our Motorhome where we were staying took all the information regarding the accident and assured us that they were in control and that someone would be in contact with us shortly. Since that October meeting we have been in contact weekly with Venessa Price weather it be e-mails or phone conversation she has pointed us in the right direction, you could say she has been our liaison to all the unknowns. Thank You Venessa and Thank you Craig Swapp for having a brilliant young lady and Go-Getter on board.

There are so many challenges with an auto accident, especially when the insurance company of the person that hit me is denying that there is coverage. From my inital meeting with Joel to my conversations with Jessica Osborne, who has been assigned my case, I feel as though they are there to make sure that I am taken care of. BEST BANKRUPTCY LAWYER IN UTAH!!!! After getting a couple of judgements, my wife & I decided to call around & see if anyone could help us, we had numerous fliers from different lawyers in Utah & Salt Lake Counties after calling a few & getting no wheres. I called Craig Swapp & Associates, the receptionist was very helpful & understanding. She told me she would try to find someone who could call me back that day, after about 30 minutes since I had called, she called me back & said Greg could call me later that day. Greg called & listened to what I was explaining to him & answered all my questions, I got off that call already feeling relieved. After coming up with part of the money, I went to sign the paperwork met Brittany, who was very informed & answered all of my questions with a smile. I went to Craig Swapp & Associates after my business had closed down. I was being contacted daily by collectors and they wanted me to pay huge amounts of debit that the company had collected. I was told by many of these debit collecting companies that if I didn't pay they were coming after me and my assets and would garnish my wages. Before my divorce we always had huge medical expenses because of Special Needs children. I am not complaining about that and tried to pay all of the bills. After my grandson was born to my teenage daughter we could not get any help or response from the hospital. They wanted big payments that we could not afford with all of the other medical expenses we were trying to pay. We made an offer that we could pay and still meet all of our other obligations. Not good enough for the big bad hospital, the started garnishing my wages for so much every month that I could not pay my other obligations, so they started garnishing my wages too. The "Debt Snowball in reverse!"

During this time after many years of whateever, I had enough, moved out and filed for divorce. Even though I left enough money in the bank account for half of the next months mortgage, he quit paying the mortgage. He has lived in the home for over a year for free. So I am living somewhere else and my name is on the mortgage headed for foreclosure. Unbeknownst to me, my ex had also stopped paying the credit card bill. I couldn't pay it, my checks were still being garnished! I especially could not pay the full amount due they requested from me when they final found me and let me know how many months had not been paid. I had no other choice but to file for bankruptsy. I wasn't sure where to go but got a coupon in the mail for $0 down with a payment plan. At last someone reasonable.

When I made the call I was greeted warmly and had an appointment that fit my schedule right away! I thought it might take weeks.

Shelley was so friendly, non judgemental and on my side. I thought I had a new best friend! I got many calls and emails checking up on me and helping me through the process. Shelley even offered to come to the bankruptsy hearing with me on her day off because she knew how upset I had been.

Afterwards I still got phone calls and emails while we waited for the bankruptsy to be discharged. Shelly and Ron were awesome!!! My only regret is that I did not use Craig Swapp for my divorce!!! I don't think they would have let me be threatened by my ex's attorney or that they would have let me settle for what I got stuck with.

Previous review was truthful. Reply from Graig Swapp and Associates representative is inconsistent with events that we've experienced and most of the data provided is not true. This is clearly shows what you'll be dealing with when you hire them. Let me elaborate on what really happened in response to the Craig Swapp reply.

1. Craig Swapp: we make every effort to meet the expectations of every client

Response: no you're not, because we obviously would not be writing this review if you met our expectations.

2. Craig Swapp: after reading review we immediately reached out to her and her husband and explained how she received a medical bill after her settlement

Response: they never called us after reading this review, this is a lie. Our case was closed a while ago and Craig Swapp clearly showed us in the past that they don't care at all about their clients after you sign settlement. I can prove it with my phone records that they never called us after I've placed this review. Again, will you trust a law firm that would lie about the facts just to make themselves look good? I wouldn't.

3. Craig Swapp: our goal to uncover every medical expense incurred to ensure that it is paid at the time of settlement;

Response: well, you didn't pay for our medical expenses for laser therapy (over $3000 was never covered by settlement), and there was no two accounts made at Tosh for the same physical therapy. I work for the clinic and there is always only one account made per issue, which is in this case were neck injury after the car accident. I can prove it simply by calling Tosh and requesting our records.

4. Craig Swapp: provider did not inform us of the second account and we were unaware of this situation until the post-settlement

Response: again this is another lie. We've sent them all of the receipts from therapy that we have on file way before settlement was reached. Plus physical therapy was in fact one of the first treatments we've received at TOSH. How is that you're not aware about the very first medical bill? I have an email saved with all PDF files that I've sent you with all of the receipts. My guess would be they lost it, because they changed person that were in charge of our case and now they making it look like they never knew about it. When we called them to resolve it, they simply told us in legal language; there is nothing we can do about because you already sign settlement and we just don't care. You have to pay it out of your pocket.

5. Craig Swapp:;we had 49 telephone conversations, sent 10 emails, mailed 8 letters and left 3 voice messages

Response: seriously, 49 phone conversations? Maybe 12-15 at the most. Can you prove on what days you had 49 conversations with us? This is just funny. Eight letters is also BS. Again, prove it on what days you sent those letters and what letters were about? We have all letter that you've sent us on file, so try not to lie this time, because I will go public with this information to uncover your low quality practice and how you cheat your clients.

6. Craig Swapp: A client may withdraw at any time and are not charged for our services, unless that former client retains another attorney or tries to accept a settlement offer directly from the insurance company that our firm negotiated prior to termination.

Response: this is also BS, read your contract before you sign it. We didn't hire any new attorneys at that time, we just wanted to get rid of Craig Swapp, and they told us that we have to pay around $5000 for the services they done so far, where settlement was around $6000 for our medical expenses that were way above $10,000.

SHAME ON YOU CRAIG SWAPP, my wife is disabled after the car accident!!! She lost her job on top of that, being unable to lift, you never even bother to seek wage loss settlement that I've requested from you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM LAW FIRM!
