Located in Sandy, Ore., the Office of the City Manager supervises, directs and controls the officers and public employees of the city. It is responsible for the overall management of the city s various departments. The office supervises the operation s of public utilities owned and operated by the city. The Office of the City Manager prepares the annual budget for consideration by the city council and budget committee. It also recommends various ordinances to the city council. Additionally, the Office of the City Manager collects fees, liens, assessments and taxes on behalf of the city government.
