Visited this urgent care with congestion, coughing a very bad looking mucous and wheezing. I said I am sure I need an antibiotic and cough medicine and an inhaler would have been nice....I was given a steroid shot which will help my allergies but does nothing for the discolored mucous I am coughing up....I called the very next day to report that I’m sure I need an antibiotic and was told I’d have to come in again! Pay another $50!!! Just ridiculous! I will have to wait and call my PCP on Tuesday for one. This means It will take longer to get better....Please don’t go here!!!

Avoid this place and make the drive to another clinic if you are suffering from anything that might require an antibiotic because this group of young doctors have a policy to NOT give antibiotics even when you need them. This is the 2nd time they have not treated us properly and we had to go to yet another clinic days later because our condition got seriously bad. Also, they either don't know much or they lie a lot jut to try to get you to accept anything they say. A young, male doctor with dark hair told us that young children can't get sinus infections because they don't have sinuses. That's completely false . It's called pediatric sinusitis. He also said that it's an old wife's tale that the color of the mucus makes a difference on what a child has. Well, again that's kinda funny since all the other doctors I've been to seem to disagree with this young, new doctor who probably barely made it through med school. Also, if you read about sinus infections one of the symptoms they ask you to look for is green or yellow thick mucus. My child had dark green & yellow mucus, he had drainage in his throat which even that stupid doc. admitted, his eyes were swollen, he was unable to sleep, had a low grade fever, and he had all this for 8 days when I took him to this bad doctor. He refused to even do a throat or nose swap to test for bacteria & this was after waiting hours! It was a a waste of time, my child was hungry, bored & miserable waiting 3 hours in a facility that's not child friendly at all. I trusted my own instincts & had him looked at by a pediatric doctor who after talking to me & looking at my child right away asserted that he probably had a sinus infection since it was now going on 11 days, getting worse from no treatment, & had all the other signs. This much older, wiser, more experienced doctor cared enough to actually exam my child completely . After getting much needed antibiotics for my child, he began getting better in 2 days although I of course made him take his full course of antibiotics. Some doctors, especially these new doctors, are being trained to never give antibiotics even if it means they must tell you a lie. They are hurting people & putting young children in danger. This man caused a several day delay in my child's recovery by denying treatment. I feel this is wrong. I understand how we must be careful to not over prescribe antibiotics so super bugs are not created but don't take it out on a little toddler who has only had antibiotics twice. Get a grip doctors! Have compassion & don't lie or act smarty with people who just want their child to get reasonable treatment. I suspect he would not have treated his own toddler the way he treated mine & if he does then God help his kids. Oh and you can get seen faster at the St John hospital Emergency room ! Wish I could give 0 stars. This guy was the worst......
