Jade Gardens Chinese Restaurant

Just a tiny place, not much for ambiance, but the food is great! I had the Pad Thai, and tho it tasted a little different than what I usually used to in Thai restaurants - it was GREAT! Wow, delivered fast and hot (temperature) and so flavorful, my mouth waters just thinking about it. My first time there, but I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Jade Gardens has the tastiest Chinese food in all of San Jose, and I've lived in San Jose for 30 years and tried dozens, maybe hundreds of Chinese restaurants. Ambience is terrible, just a hole in the wall, but go for the food. The Basil Chicken is to die for. I don't really like fried rice, but this is the best fried rice ever. Really, we've tried just about everything on their menu and haven't found one bad or even mediocre dish.

The food there is very good. Always fresh and the service is great too. The owner always remembers you and can recall your last orders. He is awesome
