Wonderful experience all around. We have thoroughly appreciated the time and care that all staff have provided and have referred my family to you guys.

The staff gave me hope when I had none. The doctor is a medical genius. The man always had an answer for all of my questions. And yeah, I ask a sh*tload of questions. He never rushed me. He is ridiculously amazing at what he does. I mean off the hook, hands down, knows his stuff like no other. I did IVF with him. I completely trust this man.

Waiting time in exam rooms are about average but usually been short. Everyone here is very welcoming and helpful. Always answering your questions and making sure that you know step by step what will happen during your appointments

Great location, great staff, great technology...who could ask for more? Dr. Kettel and Dr. Hummel are incredible doctors! They have world class embryologist on staff, high quality nurses and even the nicest receptionist ever!

The Phlebotomist whose name I can't recall at the moment is really animated and very personable. She's hilarious and cracks me up every time I need a blood draw. Waiting time is average but usually short.

San Diego Fertility Center has really changed our lives. I can't even begin to express my gratitude towards them.

Annette is by far the most positive nurse I have ever had, and even when breaking bad news she was able to make me smile. She also returns phone calls promptly and answered all of my tedious questions. My overall experience with San Diego Fertility Center has been great.

I consulted the doctor and nurses at the San Diego Fertility Center back in 2006 after experiences. I originally reached out to my then OBGYN who was absolutely no help and had little sympathy for my sad experience. The docs and nurses made me feel special and helped me through a difficult time. I was treated with respect and great care and now I have two beautiful daughters. I would recommend this group to anyone.

The staff here is very nice and accommodating. We've rarely had to wait for long when we've had an appointment. I also like the fact that their facility is very nice and state of the art. Most of the reviews I've read are complimentary and confirm what we have experienced.

My husband and I researched the best fertility center in the US after an unsuccessful attempt with IVF in another city. We drove a long distance to see Dr. Kettel and his staff. Everyone was so warm and encouraging. We corresponded from our home and traveled to San Diego for a two week stay. The entire process was perfection and we are now the proud parents of a beautiful son and daughter. They made our dreams come true, we could not say enough nice things about these people. Thank you!

San Diego Fertility Center made our dream come true. Dr. Hummel and his staff made this experience easy and painless physically, mentally and financially. Our nurse not only gave us her email but a direct phone number to contact her with any questions that we had. I took full advantage of that! Every call and email was replied to either by the nurse or Dr. Hummel himself. Great people at SDFC.

Never again I would deal with these people.



My girlfriend has done some teeth cleaning and other work done by this doctor. The results were descent although the service was expensive for what you would get.



On every occasion my girlfriend would get some work done on her teeth, Dr. Abelar's secretary would call me to get my credit card and charge me for the services. The last time my girlfriend has gone to this dentist they have called me for my credit card and I assumed that everything went smoothly.



After a few month my girlfriend receives an invoice from the clinic for the services that were supposed to be paid by my credit cars on her last visit. I call Dr. Abelar's office but their computers are down so I tell the secretary to make sure to charge my card for the invoice we have received. I get reassured that it will be done once the computers are up.



After couple more month my girlfriend looks at her credit history report and sees that Dr. Abelar's office has reported her for non payment.



On the last time I have spoken with Dr. Abelar's secretary, I have requested a written explanation of this situation on their letterhead so my girl could send it to the 3 credit agencies and try to remove the only negative record she has from her credit history. i was told that this is not their fault or job to do this, that they tried calling (if they did, they have left no messages) and that my girlfriend "needs to stop being a kid, pay her bills, and take responsibility for her actions".



We would certainly try writing letters to the credit agencies but I would advise avoiding Dr. Abelar's office like fire. As a local business owner in San Diego I feel that their lack of professionalism and disrespect to their customer's won't get them far.

I would recommend SDFC to anyone! I had a great experience with them. Dr. Kettel and Dr. Hummel are so nice and have a very caring bedside manner. The nurses make the process so fun and always answered all of my questions. The staff always remembered my name too! The embryologists took such great care of my embryos and always called me with the updates - the lab was great. Go to SDFC!

Dr. Kettel and the staff at SDFC are so wonderful. I had the best experience at their center. They really made a frustrating experience easier to handle. They explained all the procedures really well and answered all my questions. Also, the embryologists and lab were fabulous! They took great care of my little embryos!

Dr. Hummel is the best!!! I had such a wonderful experience at his center. He was so caring and had a great bedside manner. The staff at SDFC are so nice and answered all of my questions.
