I had to start a small claims against cricket wireless because Ive had two phones that were very very bad. One LG Harmony that just up and died on me 8 months after I got it. The second was the LG Fortune2 that I had to buy outright after the LG Harmony died on me . Well after a month of my Fortune getting too hot to the touch to where the techs would tell me "oh just dont leave it plugged in so long" I was holding the phone to unplug it and when I unplugged it it shattered in my hand. I dropped the phone and it was shattered. I called to store and the manager Daniel said "well its past 7 days so you will have to go for a warranty exchange" I said thats it? HE said yeah...well then I found out that my other phone was also under warranty and so I asked Daniel WHY is employee did not tell me about the warranty with the other phone and he said i dont know. So I demanded to speak to the manager above Daniel and that would have been the district manager. Well I waited and waited and kept calling and one day TANYA told me "Daniel instructed us that if you call again we are to call the police on you for harassment" I said WHY because Im trying to get ahold of the manager? she said Yes and hung up on me. SO I had to file a small claims because not only did the employee not tell me I could go for warranty exchange but the phone I bought was dangerous and no one cared. NO ONE AT CRICKET EVEN CARED THAT I GOT CUT FROM THIS PHONE...SO NOW I have a lady named CHRISTINE HOUGH SUPPOSEDLY from the ATT CRICKET LEGAL DEPARTMENT giving me the run around....first she said "I am trying to get all your account information so I can look it over and that will take 5 days" well 2 weeks later THEN she says " I got some information but I dont have all of it..can I get all the phone numbers associated with your account that might help ...well you only have ONE phone number associated with your account". SO then she writes back and says "the girl who was suppose to get me your file says she is not "authorized" to get the file for me so she has to talk to OTHERS to get the information" then it was "ok I got your information but now I am preparing for a different trial set to go to court inn two weeks so I cant review yours until its over unless I get a continueous " so then I demand to get the number of the actual ATTORNEY she works for and she says..um why? I said because you are just as bad as cricket and I dont appreciate your stall tatics. ..so then all of a sudden she says " I dont appreciate your rudeness we will communicate via mail from now on" then I said I want the name and number of the attorney YOU work for please. ..well she wrote me back and said..ok I got a continueous for the case , I am reviewing your file now and will have a letter ready for you in a few days...............NOW DO I TRUST THIS WOMAN OR WHAT? LOL OR WHAT!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THIS PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst experience I have ever had with cellular service. The rate was higher on my bill than quoted, my phone was defected and Cricket would not repair/replace after 2 months of ownership, store employees had lousy attitudes & were blatantly rude, and coverage was awful. What a rip-off. I switched to Boost & no problems.

Since I purchased my Cricket I found out that I have to stay within a 10 mile radius to get coverage. I get popups while I am texting. I have had the phone for 3 months and Cricket wil be lucky if I keep the plan for another month.

They specialize in cell phone services, that is a big lie. I am preparing to file a complaint with the FCC about their internet fraud. They are not worthy of getting any stars. The only incentive anyone would have to stay with them is the non contract. I was given this incorrect number as their corporate office and that was who I needed to speak with about my complaint. Those people working at customer service must enjoy the power they have over the callers because all they know how to do is give you the runaround. And as for the calls being monitored for training purposes, give me a break! Just another ploy to play head games with you.

My sister purchased a phone for my 15 year old daughter and everything was fine until I received my bill and its 20.00 higher. They told me I called on 3/7 and 3/10 2010 for upgrades and they would only credit me 10.00. I thought this was a prepaid phone where you pay for your services before you use them. The only thing they really knew how to do was apologize after every sentence. I told them to fix my bill where it should be cause I am not paying one cent higher and they basically said too bad so I will be letting everyone know in Delaware Buyer beware if you call the customer service to pay your bill you may get more than you bargained for. To me they are a total rip off and scam artist and everyone should be aware

If Cricket does not improve their customer service, I am definitely dropping them. I am tired of calling there to end up trying to decipher broken English every time or going into a dealership and being lied to and screwed over every time. Ther is one dealership in Council bluffs by Walmart that is great but overall the way cricket treats their customers is ridiculous!

The Lees Summit store has horrible customer service. The employees don't care about customers and act like they hate their jobs and perhaps their lives! They don't stand behind their products and their exchange only policy does not leave room for defective products, even if you realize the product is defective before leaving the store. If they make a mistake on your bill, which they did on mine 3 months in a row, you have to pay it before reaching customer service. They freeze your phone even if you have paid two months in advance, because they assume it is your mistake until you prove that they screwed up, again! They owe me $80, and i had to drive to a corporate store 45 minutes away to speak to a human to show them their mistakes. They won't refund the money, just allocate it to prepayment. Very bad customer care in these cases.

I like the monthly cell phone packages, but the corporate stores are not plentiful if you have a problem. I have to drive far because the store on 291 in Lees Summit is not customer service oriented. It seems like the employees hate their jobs (and maybe their life) and it reeks of cigarette smoke half the time. With the economy the way it is, you would think they would put a little effort out to please their customers? I guess the minimum wage employee could care less about the success of the company that employs them? (Short sided thinking). Oh, don't buy anything unless you are sure it is what you want and that is works 100% before ringing it up. There are no returns and exchanges from one bad product to another is a waste of everyone's time! The should consider changing their exchange/return policy to make customers into long term customers.

Avoid Cricket in LEES SUMMIT on 291 because their customer service is really bad, and they don't stand behind their products at all! I bought an accessory for my phone, which was WAY OVER PRICED and WITHOUT leaving the store tried to apply it to my phone. It didn't fit the phone even though it was made for my make and model. I asked for my money back. They said they don't take returns even if I bought it 5 seconds ago and it isn't working as advertised! I was so shocked. The very rude girl who was in charge claimed the manager would say the same thing..no refunds under any circumstances. There wasn't even a package that needed to be opened. They could set the face plate back on the shelf and sell it to another sucker, but she refused because they can't return defective products to their vendors. I will NEVER shop there again because they could care less about customer service or product performance. This was a costly decision on their part! I was about to buy new phones for my kids!

I think Cricket is a great idea. All three of my children have a cricket phone, but I had a question about our account, and since I live in the middle of the woods, I was in hopes of getting it answered without having to drive the 75 miles to a Cricket store. However, I can't talk to a "real" human, no matter what phone number I call. They would please alot more of their customers if they were willing to have real people on the other end of the phone. I have tried at least 10 times. Disappointed and frustrated but I won't give up. Deanna Daniel

I thought this would be an excellent plan. It is except the customer service. I have been trying to 4 hours to speak to a live person. The only live person I can get is in sales and can not assist with anything besides sales. So if I want to buy I can speak to someone but if I want to pay for the service I already have I cant get a live person on the phone for anything! VERY UPSET! I just want to pay my bill!

Just purchased the Pay As You Go at the local Cricket store for $19. Includes $5 air time. I signed up for the $1/day unlimited local calling-don't call long distance much. Sure beats the Cingular $3/day unlimited, which has long distance-not needed here. Plan on staying with Cricket.

Horrible! Bad customer service, I was constantly charged too much on my bill, and my phone would drop a call at least once a day.

Best phone service ever! I've been with them all and Cricket is not only afordable, unlimited but they have great customer service. I actually got my phone replaced right on the spot! I didn't have to send it then took care of it all. In the past i heard bad about cricket but they have obviously grown cause i gave them a shot and i wouldn't change service ever again. Plus now it works in the bay area!! They care about their customers.

I can't even give Cricket 1/2 a star. I needed a phone for a short period, so didn't want a contract, and decided to use Cricket for that. It was absolutely a horrible experience, from the uselessness of the phone itself all the way to writing letters to the company just trying to get my money back. I tried for 2 weeks to call. You can't get a hold of Cricket anywhere without an active account. I still haven't gotten it back, and I will continue to let people know how horrible this company is.

Extremely disappointing. First phone charger and battery had to be replaced after only one month. Then, two months later phone failed. Still under warranty yet had to pay $10 to get another one. Then, guess what, battery and charger failed again. Add to this incorrect billing - charged for unrequested Internet service for 3 billing cycles despite calling and talking to customer service in the store. Eventually they issued credit towards bill for most of the overcharges but would not refund on credit card. Doesn't help me since I am switching providers. Turns out the only way to use my credit was to sign up for another month. No way... Besides, the phones broken.... All this is 4 months time. Oh, can't forget all the repeat texts it sends - typically each text is sent 3-4 times. No attempts to fix this either. All this in just 4 months. Switched to T-mobile with far better coverage, better phones and better service and for the same price.....

Finally a product that does not rip you off. No contract. Never missed a call. Unlimited Calling. I use it for my business phone, with my home and BellSouth lines forwarded to it during the day. I got my phone about five months ago in Charleston SC on Savannah Highway. The representative Diedra (843)763-1880 was very nice and has helped me each month when I pay my bill or have questions. Where you buy makes a big difference, because some of the other Cricket dealers are not full service.

I gave them one star because no stars would not be accepted. This company specializes in ripping off poor or uneducated people and make it impossible to pay a bill. We had to close one account and open a new one, just to get an incorrect address changed. This incorrect address was reported to the credit bureaus and we all know how getting them to make changes goes!I have never run into any company so averse to accepting payments! To pay online, you need a new password every month, and you must have physical possession of the cellphone to pay the bill. Forget customer service - if you get a live human, you get a Middle Easterner with a script and they will not get off it.They do not accept plastic payment of any kind. They charge you $5.00 for telephonic payment. Neighbors who have put it on automatic payment thru their bank consistently get burned so we don't trust them to do that. They could be collecting millions from debit cards!
