Dr. Brantz is on senior medical staff at Sharp Memorial Hospital Main campus (Frost Street), medical staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital (in Hillcrest), and associate staff at Sharp Grossmont. He also has privileges at several Ambulatory Surgical Centers. Dr. Brantz is a member of the San Diego County Medical Society, California Medical Association, San Diego County Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians (continuously since 1978). He has served on local hospital medical staff boards, participated in several pro bono service programs, and conducted research studies. He precepts UCSD medical students and USD nurse practitioners.
