I bought a Fire Pit made by this company. It was beautiful and I had to talk my husband into spending the extra money for it. But after burning just one fire in it, it got rusty. Very rusty. How do you make a fire pit for burning outside, and it rusts within a couple weeks? I'm very disappointed in this company, as their warranty states they do not warranty against rust. That tells me they knew it was going to rust. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

This company is a rip off! They shipped me used furniture that was clearly not new and tried to pass it off as new. When I called, I got the run around over and over again then was told to call the manufacturer which is their job, not mine. I have spoken to the owner and been in the store at least 8 times and still no resolution, my furniture and bbq island are all used and damaged and they refuse to help. Buyer Beware! I saw other complaints on here and did not listen but wished I had. They are very unethical.

THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I REGRET SPENDING MY HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM ONLY TO BE PROVIDED A LESS THAN FULL GLASS FIRE PIT AND NOW STUCK WITH THE DAMAGES CAUSED DUE TO LACK OF GLASS IN THE PIT --- TARNISH AND WEATHER DAMAGE. . ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEN GOOD LUCK GETTING ANYTHING FROM THEM.



VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I PAID FOR.





I purchase a custom glass filled fire pit from Backyard Creations 7475 Clairemont Mesa, Blvd #400, San Diego, CA 92111 it was delivered the second week of November. Upon delivery we contacted Backyard Creations, sales person Jesus, regarding the quantity of brown glass filling being less than required for the size of the pit. Because there was not enough glass fill, the fire ring is exposed and now after numerous weeks has become tarnished due to exposure. I withheld a portion of the total balance to begin-with in order to ensure I received enough glass fill for my custom fire pit. I release the final balance when they told me they were delivering the extra glass, but upon arrival the glass was clear, not brown to match existing glass and was not enough additional material to cover the exposed fire ring. I added the clear glass to the pit in order to prevent as much damage/tarnish as possible before additional 2 bags of brown glass that Jesus promised was being shipped directly to me. Now that they have received the balance in-full they are no longer answering or returning my calls, after numerous weeks since the clear glass was brought to me and still insufficient to cover the fire ring, it would seem that they have no intention of providing me with enough glass to fill the custom fire pit I purchased from them. Due to Backyard Creations inability to provide enough brown glass to cover the fire ring, it remains exposed to the elements and continues to accumulate tarnish.In addition to the issues with the product I paid in cash for two payments and they only provided me with a hand written receipt for the first transaction of $4,000, the second transaction of $5,500 cash they did not provide me with a receipt.

It was a Christmas present. Love my outdoor kitchen. Love my huge stainless steal grill. Love my patio furniture. Love my Christmas present. Backyard Creations is awesome!

I love to barbeque and have friends and family over. The problem I had was my outdoor kitchen wasn't cutting it, in reality what I had wasn't even close to an outdoor kitchen. Anyway, in March a friend told me about Backyard Creations and how they will custom build me an outdoor kitchen. I went in at the end of March and he wasn't kidding, they have so much to choose from and I'm talking about stuff you see anywhere else and they custom design your outdoor kitchen according to what you want. Needless to say I now have a real outdoor kitchen with counter top, drawers, sink, fridge, stools and a covering. You will not be disappointed when you go there. They have a great staff that will walk you through to the end.

If you want a great custom outdoor kitchen this is the place to go.



From beginning to ending my experience with these guys was great. The sales people know their products and they will help you design your outdoor kitchen. I'm talking real custom, but simply putting pieces together.



I completely customized my outdoor kitchen. It's awesome. I also bought a palapa to cover my kitchen area.



I spent about 2 hours putting my design together and they were very patient. I never felt hurried. Great place! I highly recommend them.

My wife and I like to entertain family and friends. I have been enjoying my outdoor kitchen especially for the last few months while having friends and family over to watch the charger games. It's nice when you don't have to go inside the house for anything, not even the TV. I have a big flat screen under my covered patio. I bought my huge stainless steel grill and whole kitchen with sink and fridge at Backyard Creations. I have had my wife's birthday party, my daughters baby shower, and my mom and dad's anniversary party here at my house so far and I'm telling you, it has made a big difference having the outdoor kitchen I got at backyard Creations. Their custom service is great and the delivery only took two weeks.

Backyard Creations is a wonderful place to go if your looking to design your outdoor cooking area. My husband and I purchased a very nice stainless steel bbq grill, large red umbrella and patio furniture there.



I originally wanted to buy a bbq grill at Loews but my husband said a friend recommended Backyard Creations to him.



So after going to Loews to look at patio furniture and bbq grills. We found that Backyard Creations carries higher quality products than Loews as a matter of fact you can customize and design your entire outdoor kitchen at Backyard Creations.



Sales people were very helpful, especially for me being that I do not know much about bbq grills. They have good prices for the quality items they carry.

I have been to Backyard Creations a few times. I have a brother a sister and two friends that have purchased their outdoor kitchens here. Each time I have gone the customer service has been great, they are knowledgeable and courteous. The customer service has been consistent from beginning to the end. They will answer you questions in a manner that is not demeaning or short. The customer service and sales people seem to really enjoy working there and it is manifested in how the treat you when you visit them.

I was out shopping for an outdoor kitchen, and I stopped at a lot of places. I was looking for something different from the ordinary, and I finally stepped in to Backyard Creations. They have some really nice stuff! When I spoke with the salesman, he told me that I can even have a custom design made for me. I ended up getting what I wanted, their staff was very knowledgeable. They even helped me with my landscape contractor and made cad drawings. The delivery went smooth as silk, I am now going to go back there and get all my furniture. I would definitely recommend Backyard Creations to anyone who is looking for a serious outdoor kitchen.

Had been wanting a fire pit for years, finally went out to find one. Looked at a couple of places, then stepped into Backyard Creations. They actually make custom fire tables, and I ended up with a hexagonal 5' table with a gas fire pit in the middle. They had some cheaper stuff, and so did the other guys, but the custom stuff was so nice! Now we use our fire-table at least 3 times a week! Their service was excellent, and they delivered the table one week early.

This is not a stop and shop kind of place for grills. This is a you go to acquire a custom design for your outdoor space. Backyard Creations has the best selection of Palapas in san diego. If you are wondering what a Palapa is, it is a straw covering. They can be round like an umbrella or large square or rectangle shaped and the poles are generally made of bamboo or other wood. So if you are looking for a "green" solution to your outdoor kitchen, patio or area you want to cover, consider using a Palapa. They look great.

After buying a $7700.00 BBQ island,and being told it would be exactly like the one we looked at in store, and being told their company credits customer service,quality "lifetime" BBQ and knowledge and experience I expected them to stick to their word and deliver what I paid for. Instead so far we've recieved an incomplete BBQ island, and not one call back from the sales person or manager despite requests to speak to them nearly 3 months later.When calling to speak to sales person, It was their "day off". Everyone that works here has passed the buck and blamed others and claimed to not know what was going on.Waited a month for BBQ called and set up delivery. The BBQ was missing the lights, rottiserie, and umbrella when delivered. The installer called store.He did install lights,and told us the person hooking up the gas the followindg day would bring rotisserie and umbrella. After arriving 2 hours later then scheduled appointment, he did not have rottisserie or umbrella, and knew nothing about it. When I called to complain, and asked for manager I was scolded by salesperson for insulting him, and told that the company would UPS rotisserie. He did not give me manager. I was told umbrella was not in contract so I would not recieve. After compalining to person on phone he spoke to manager who said he would "give" us umbrella, but had to go pick it up somewhere else since they did not have any. That was 2 weeks ago. Save yourself a big headache and avoid this company.
