I rarely post reviews but if you need a company that you can trust when there is a fire or flood, this is the company to call. I had a fire at my business and they really came in 24 -7 at my shop and had me open for business the next day. This was like having family helping you out. HIghly recommend this Jack and Abbotts Fire and Flood

We discovered lots of water coming from what seemed everywhere upon arriving home, a broken supply line to the toilet in our upper bathroom was the culprit. Water coming through the ceilings. Jack and his son came over and took complete control of the whole situation, these guys were quite amazing. Extracting water, moving furniture, cleaning up, installing equipment and drying out my wet house. What a mess and what a job they had to deal with. I want to personally thank you both for your kindness and professionalism. I would highly recommend.

In May 2015 my hot water heater sprung a leak. It happened sometime after my dog watcher came by in the morning and before she came back in the afternoon. She shut off the water. The kitchen damage was done. I came home a few days later. Having known Abbotts co-owner Jack Martin for many years, I called Jack immediately. I thought only the floor was ruined, but Travis walked me through possible areas I might have overlooked and explained the drying protocols. Abbotts came out with the tools to measure moisture. The floor was an obvious total loss, but I was amazed where the drywall and cabinets were saturated. Despite knowing Jack, being a real estate attorney and homebuilder, I was skeptical and suspicious. I asked a lot of questions. I did some research and made some phone calls. Everything checked out. After giving the go-ahead for the cleaning and drying, the crew was at my house that evening and completed the initial clean and setup of the fans and dehumidifiers. I was nervous as cabinets were torn out and walls were cut. I thought it was a small flood, but it turns out that there is rarely a small flood. Even the crawlspace was impacted! After an additional clean the next day, the fans and dehumidifier ran for a few more days, after which the tests showed the excess moisture was gone. The space place was gutted, but absolutely spotless. Travis and Jack took additional time to discuss possible reconstruction paths and what I could expect from my insurer. I have been meaning to write some reviews and can’t believe it took me so long! Their advice was spot on. I’d call them back and recommend them without hesitation. Like any other big project, homeowner participation is crucial to the team success, stating desires clearly, asking lots of questions, and doing your homework. In the end, all the advice, work, and guidance from the Abbotts crew was spot on! Thanks!

Jack, is an honest, straight shooter, knowledgeable, He knows his industry, he’s beyond passionate and he doesn't mind sharing what he knows, based on his experience and industry standards. We had three quotes, we chose Abbott’s, they quoted us a fair price on a large fire at our home, they itemized everything in the estimate. They walked us through our site with our claims person and explained each cost, This gave us a complete understanding of each line item. I had an emergency situation at my cafe in South Park at 5 pm on a Friday evening. I had a major flood in the crawl space under my cafe from a broken pipe, leaving hundreds of gallons of sitting gray water. After calling several flood and disaster specialists and getting the runaround, from other companies answering services and no returned call backs. I luckily found locally owned and operated Abbotts. After a few rings, a gentleman (the owner) answered and took a brief assessment of the situation. He promised to arrive in 45 mins and to my surprise he did. Abbott’s is operated by a father and son team.

They completed the job of removing the flood water and made sure that the surrounding area was clean and disinfected of any dirty gray water. Not only did they do a great job, but they were very courteous in having the professionalism of dealing with the surrounding tenants, who were concerned about the water residue. This company went above and beyond to satisfy. To Preston and Jack. Thank you for taking care of me and my business, I don’t know what I would have done had, you both not come to my rescue. I feed them both afterward. and now they are regulars at my cafe. They are the very best at what they do!!

We had a fire in our house and worked closely with Jack Martin for our restoration needs. He and his team got the job done quickly and thoroughly! Furthermore, Jack was a terrific communicator with us throughout this whole process, and that was really most helpful for us in understanding and appreciating the progress (or challenges) of each step along the way. We could tell that Jack has much experience and skill from which to draw upon, and that was leveraged for us getting back in our home.

While on vacation our home had a pipe that began leaking. When we got home our home had been flooded. We called Abbotts Fire and Flood in San Diego at 2am and they not only answered the call, they were there within an hour to start removing the water. The next day they came in with huge blowers and began the drying process which took 5 days. Once that was done, they removed all the destroyed wood and removed the mold. They were very helpful during a rough time. The entire crew did a great job and the owner Jack give us tips on how to avoid this in the future. Overall this company did a great job and I want to thank them for it!!
