We always enjoy the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. For the longest time we would drive to Rancho Cucamonga location for wings. When we found out this location was opening in May, close to home, we were excited. The first week of the their opening, we had dinner and left with some hearing loss. The sound system was as loud as a concert or nightclub. Our group was not able to have a conversation with one another. When we complained, the waitress was apologetic but management hands were tied because the bugs to the sound system were still being worked out.
A couple of months later we went again and the sound system had improved just a bit but still loud. Plus the service had diminished and so did the sauce for the wings. We complained to management that the sound system was loud like a nightclub so one manager would turn it down but the other manager would turn it up. It was like a volume war.
Last week we thought we would give it another try. We had dinner during Sunday night football. Again it was so loud you could hear every word of the announcer but not what your friend was saying next to you. Who cares what the announcer is saying. We just want to watch the game and chat with our friends. The waitresses had looks on their faces like they all just smelled a fart. It took forever for our food to be served, and it was hard to get refills. Yes it was Sunday football but half the restaurant was empty so no excuses for crappy service.
When we complained about the noise level, again, and the service to the manager, he blew us off by stating "his manager likes it loud because of the cultural". Then the manager walked away with a "F" you expression on his face. The girl at the "To Go" counter told us its so loud to hear phone orders they have to plug their ears and ask the customer to speak up when placing their orders.
We have been to other locations in Orange County, Rancho and Albuquerque, NM, and we have never experience sound issues nor service issues.
We are very disappointed in this location. Poor management is to blame. We won't be going back to this location. OSHA should test the sound for the employees before they experience major hearing loss. Maybe that would improve the service.
