Overall

Did a very poor job on the "Full Detail" I paid $275 for. The attendant opened the drivers door to escort me and I took the bait. I left without thoroughly checking their work. When I got home I found the cargo area was not touched, dirty floor mat liners, roof not touched, rear below bumper not touched, and in general looked like a $30 wash was done. I called Neal (assist mgr) and he clearly was in over his head. Instead of empathizing and trying to satisfy a customer he would interrupt and make excuses. Will not be back and will happily tell others the same.

Overall

After a not-so-great experience at the Wash Tub in Leon Springs the last time we took our Jeep to get it cleaned, I convinced my husband to give them one more try. We dropped off our new Toyota Corolla with the guys at the vacuum cleaners, handed them our keys, and headed inside to wait. (It is important to know that our car has a keyless entry/smart key system installed in it and only needs to have the key nearby to unlock doors and start the engine.) Once they called us over to reclaim our car, the attendant asked how it looked, my husband told him it looked fine, handed him a tip, and we drove off.

We drove about 10 miles or so on the highway to HEB. When we parked, my husband realized that he didn’t have his keys in his pocket and that the guys at the Wash Tub never gave them back to him. (The reason the car started was because I had my keys in my purse.) He called them to tell them that we never got our keys back and that we were headed back that way. Upon returning to the Wash Tub parking lot, I stepped away from the car with my keys just to make sure that they weren’t on my husband or in the car somewhere. Without me nearby, the doors would not unlock; the keys were not near the car.

We waited while the manager looked around and “checked the security cameras”. Then, he basically told us that there was nothing else that he could do; so, we decided to contact the police. We wanted to have a case number so that the Wash Tub would be responsible for paying for any expenses we had to replace our car key, our Jeep key, our house key, and our mailbox key. After a while, 2 SAPD police SUVs pulled into the parking lot. The two officers talked to us, talked to the manager, and headed back to the police cars to give us a case number. At this point (almost an hour and a half later), one of the workers “found” our keys in the wheel well of the car. The manager tried to tell us that the keys must have been there all along and rode all the way back into San Antonio and back again to the Wash Tub with us.

The keys couldn’t have been there the whole time or our doors would have unlocked when we tried them in the parking lot. Somebody’s lying, and it scares me to think what their intentions were going to be with our keys. The police officer told us that the manager told him that another set of keys had been lost there just last week. Likely story! It sounds like they have some kind of scam going on. Beware if you plan on taking your vehicle to the Wash Tub! I know we won’t ever be going back to the Wash Tub in Leon Springs!
