Sara Toudouze Piano & Voice Studio

I am an adult piano student who takes lessons from Sara Toudouze. She is an absolutely outstanding teacher and pianist who is completely dedicated to her students and their advancement, regardless of age or ability. She teaches with superior knowledge, enthusiasm, humor, a positive "you can do it" attitude, and a huge amount of patience and understanding, creating a wonderful and exciting musical environment that makes you want to learn. Returning to lessons after many years, I was apprehensive. But she began with solid theory, introduced me to a wide range of composers, wrote out detailed practice sheets during each lesson, and encouraged and challenged me to excel. I
now play pieces I would have never thought possible. Her adult soiree recitals have given me a goal to work toward and have led to a great friendship and camaraderie among the adult piano students and Sara. She is simply an amazing teacher.

I appreciate Ms. Toudouze for helping my kids progress in playing piano. She is firm and yet at the same time nice to students. There are a number of recitals, some of which held at the Tuesday Musical Club, the others at her lovely home. Ms. Toudouze also creates one music CD for each student which she gives out around Christmas.

I have taken piano lessons from Sara for several years and have been really pleased with the experience. She has patiently and strategically helped me improve my knowledge and skills, doing so in an environment that is very supportive and fun. I look forward to my weekly lessons and am motivated to make practice time a priority. I highly recommend Sara Toudouze.

I can recommend Sara as a piano teacher. She successfully taught my two daughters (ages 8 and 10) when a different piano teacher had previously failed to engage them. Sara has a fun, cool, artsy house which my girls appreciated. She was very patient with them and always positive. She kept them engaged by offering music to play which piqued their interests.

I have two children that took piano lessons from Ms. Toudouze. My son took lessons for one year, and my daughter has taken them for three years. Sara makes an extra effort to have the children learn challenging but enjoyable selections. She has recitals throughout the year, including a particularly fun costumed one. I would heartily recommend piano lessons from Sara.
