Metro Materials

Excellent customer service. [This is an update to my original post from yesterday.] There was a slight misunderstanding. Delivered the wrong materials. Wanted gravel, delivered base. The discussion was about water run-off not laying concrete. However, once the error was realized, George stopped by my house in person to assess the situation and offer to swap out for the correct material. The correct material was delivered within 24 hours.

So it is Christmas Eve and I was so busy this week with work and shopping, that I forgot to order gravel for my son and husband's gift. I had ordered from Metro before with no problems so I called them on the off chance they could deliver today. I got a voice message so I tried another place but they are closed for the holidays. Luckily, Metro called me back within the hour (outside of business hours) and confirmed they had my pea gravel and could deliver by 10:30 am today, Christmas Eve. They have made my Christmas and I am so appreciative! Thanks, Metro.



PS..my mother referred me previously because she had a great experience as well.

This place doesnt even derserve a star but i had to claim one to warn people about tihis place. I called cause it poped up on the web as free dirt. I called to confirm and asked three times to not waste my time. On arrival this weasel with a pony tail claims his dads retarted and that its 15 buck per scoop on the dirt i needed . Since im there i agreed but once he loaded one scoop he gets off tracketer and demands 30 bucks with attitude or i can shovel off myself. I told him to calm down that im trying to talk to him right and he just kept cusing and raised his hand towards me so i had no choice but to back hand him . He called the cops and when they got there they didnt even want to hear it as if they knew him already . They told him to hurry up and remove the dirt himself so that we could move along. The cops even stayed till he was done telling us that they themselfs dont understand why this guy still has a buissness. I wasted a whole morning on this idiot , i guess hes used to the weasels that live in his area, hopefully i smaked some sinse into him but i thought it cause i saw his girlfriend while i was there and if i had to put up with that mostrasity of a human thing id probaply be made at the world too....

The customer service is horrible. The guy with the pony tail always acts like he doesn't need your business and tries to make you feel stupid. I'd rather go to Fertile gardens and pay more than to come here and deal with this guy. Do not do business at Metro Material on Potranco!
