Maria G. Falcon-Cantrill, MD is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology / Oncology and practices at Pediatric Specialists of Texas in San Antonio. Dr. Falcon-Cantrill originally planned to practice obstetrics and gynecology, but found herself instinctively following the baby after delivery. She then studied medicine, and completed her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She was recognized as Outstanding Resident in Pediatrics during the second and third years of her residency. Dr. Falcon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Medical Association, Children's Oncology Group, American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and American Society of Hematology. She sees patients at Pediatric Specialists of Texas and Methodist Children's Hospital.
