Immediate Response Plumbing

Like most of the poor reviews, this company was called out through American Home Shield to look at my leaking water heater. They diagnosed the need for a new water heater which was covered through AHS but insisted that is needed to pay almost $600 in out of pocket expenses including city permits. I mentioned that I live within the Bexar county but not in the city limits and therefore do not need require San Antonio city permits.



The serviceman – who was very professional and friendly, called the dispatcher, “Melissa” to have the estimate adjusted. Within minutes I received an EXTREMELY rude call from her saying that if I felt the need to question their estimate she will cancel the installation of the water heater. This motivated me to insist on determining exactly what county requirements exist.



I was told by the Bexar County Fire Marshall's office that county residents DO NOT require city permits, expansion tanks, drain pan, or drain lines on water heaters. In fact, there are NO mandates at all as long as it doesn't affect environmental concerns, (water heater disposal, sewage interference, etc.) I filed a complaint with AHS. After reading about all of the other AHS customers who complained about Immediate Response's price inflation, I have one question: WHY IS AHS STILL DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM?

called Immediate Response Plumbing and they had a fast response time and called 1/2 hour before they showed up. They repaired my Moen sink, my toilet and my shower. They were honest to state that I did not have a shower leak but a shower curtain problem which was leaking on the floor. They took off the shower handle cover and tested and observed for any leaks and drain leaks to find none. They worked as a team and were honest and polite to me. They cleaned the house up post any repair location and finished the job at a good price in 1.5 hours.

As a Realtor, I often use Immediate Response Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs. I have called on them many times for relocation properties. When I take over a property, I take over the utility costs as well, It's up to me to winterize them and to de-winterize them too. I call up Immediate Response to drain all the water and to make sure the pipes won't freeze and break.



They always do a great!!

My toilets had not been flushing properly all year and I knew there was an issue. I called around and received different opinions and chose to use Immediate Response Plumbing.



The pipes under the house were clogged when they used the cable to check I had roots in my pipes and since I wanted fixed properly I had tunneling under my home to replace the lines. 25 feet total that my warranty company did not cover.



I started the work on Monday a holiday and completed today.



Flushed toilet and everything is working great. I even flushed additional times while the technicans were at the home and no issues.

These thieves need -5 stars. They are inept, liars, crooks, and downright imbeciles. Do not waste your time or your money, or risk having these ingrate low lives in your home.

TERRIBLE!!!! The guys that came to service the water heater didn't know what they were doing at all. Told me I needed to replace the entire water heater. $250 for water heater and $330 for installation. I got 2nd opinion and only needed to clean out lent from vent. Cost was $45! Water heater has worked great ever since

I contacted my Home Warranty company about an issue I was having at my house and Immediate Response was sent to my house. The techs they sent over were very courteous and diagnosed our problem. Unfortunately, the home warranty did not cover the problem but Immediate Response had the proper equipment and knowledge to expedite the repair. The office personnel communicated the specifics of what was going on and explained what the home warranty company did not cover. They gave me an estimate and executed everything they said they would complete. I will definitely use them in the future.
