We have two children and have tried several day cares/preschools including Montessori. I find Giant Steps to have the best curriculum and most competent staff. The teachers are certified and have bachelor's degrees, which speaks to understanding of child development and learning. The owner (Jennifer) is also a teacher and highly involved in everything from daily curriculum to changes in the classroom environment. The classroom environment changes monthly so that they children do not become bored. Jennifer researches extensively the different types of activities and learning curriculum to provide the best possible outcomes for students. The owner of the preschool actually knows the first and last name of my child as well as any issues he may have. I could not boast this of any other preschool programs we attended.
My husband and I absolutely love this school! We made a great decision by sending our son to Giant Steps! My son looks forward to going to school everyday! We enjoy seeing all the hands-on learning he gets in the classroom.
The BEST preschool in San Antonio, NOT daycare!

Thank you for making every day an awesome day for the Bumblebees. I'm amazed at how much he's learned this year. And I love to see his smile at drop off and pick-up!

My husband and I love Giant Steps as well as our daughter. The staff is so nice and patient. Mrs. Guerra is mazing! My daughter is always talking about how great she is. She is a beautiful person and an amazing patient teacher!

Provided by SuperpagesGiant Steps has been a wonderful place for our children! Mrs. Guerra has a true passion for teaching and our son is excited to see her each day and loves going to school. Our daughter also adores her teachers, Mrs. Wacasey and Mrs. Burns. The best part is knowing that this is not a daycare, but a place where they learn and has structure. This is truly a school and the director, Jennifer, makes sure it is ran that way!
