French Sandwiches

We have been going to this place since the early 90s, menu has changed very little, quality and taste remain excellent even though original owner no longer there. A simple but well presented and tasteful menu, our favorite S6 sandwich - chicken fajita on French bread, salad or French onion soup to go with it as a combo deal… Quiet and soft music to make it a relaxing experience..

I had a very different take. The place was a bargain that is true. The bread was delicious. The French meatball inside was tasty but needed some type of sauce because the bread overwhelmed it and made it a little dry to eat. The soup that came before the sandwich tasted just above a liquefied cornstarch with vegetables put for flavor, which doesn't help a soup that was not made from scratch because won't have any depth. Only the salt used to season it remained. The very small, just of the refrigerator, pastry puff at the end of the meal was unnecessary and disappointing. The service was attentive, but the decor was anything but a French cafe feel more like a dollar store chic.
