We paid $10,730 for new flat roof and this roofer did a very poor work in Sep 2016 during our homestead renovation.
It leaked throughout the house when it rained hard over the weekend in Dec 3rd. It damaged ceiling, walls, inside the house and the roof is completely needed to be redone. The roofer said he is on his way but he never showed up. Instead he sent two men and they walked around the one section of the roof and took off. Then he said the roof has been taken care of, which was clearly a lie.
Homeowner's insurance does not cover the construction defects or poor workmanship. So when we try to discuss about the damage inside of the house, he said he does not have an insurance and when I asked him if he is even licensed, he hang up on the phone. Since then this roofer won't answer my calls nor texts. This roofer was hired by the General Contractor Jose Corona so we would like to file complaints against the GC and the roofer to honor the 5 year warranty as they say on the contract and have him pay for the damages. We are scared of next rain and mold built up in between the walls.
