From the start this has been the best educational experience on the impact the cranial structure can have on one's health and dental needs. My neck pain has decreased, my sinuses drain better, and overall my strength has greatly improved. In addition, the profile of my face is visibly different. I am almost finished with the process (growth appliance and braces) and I look forward to the final results!

Dr. King inspires excellent patient care in her all of her assistants. Everyone in the office is patient, clear and all work together to make the experience there understandable and comfortable. Just watching how gentle everyone in the office deals with the many children that come to the practice instills trust.
I came to Dr. King with a very complex situation. I have called this my ""multiple dental misadventures." She assessed the many parts to find the underlying cause and carefully presented a plan including examples from past patients and walking me through research to clarify her assessment. Some symptoms were relieved in a few hours, We are still working through the others as write.
I highly recommend Complementary Dental for all kinds of treatments from fillings to orthodontics.

We have a family of 6 and we go to Complementary Dental for cleanings and ortho for the last 6 years. We love that Dr. King thinks about the whole body and how are teeth affect so much of our bodies. We have 3 kids in ortho and a special needs child for cleanings. The staff is patient and friendly. We love Dr. King and staff, drive over an hour, one way to see them. 5 stars all around!

I sought Dr. King's holistic and biological dentistry experience for my family 5 years ago. We travel over 90 miles to the clinic because Dr. King prioritizes the health and wellness of my children over the needs of her practice. I have been to other holistic pediatric dentists in Austin, who despite their "holistic approach" operate from their bottom line and NOT my children's best interest. Dr. King is a knowledgeable well-known expert in her field. As a PhD Scientist I appreciate that she shares her research and clinical experience to help me make the best informed decisions for my family. I've had my kids at this office for 14 years. They take time with each child in a personal and warm way. Dr. King is extremely knowledgeable and applies her knowledge to each patient, finding ways to help their whole health through dentistry and orthodontia. We trust this practice and the intelligent, caring staff.

I've been to a wide variety of dentists with my problems of grinding, alignment and weak enamel. Dana King was able to help me correct the root of the problem as opposed to just symptoms.

Our experience with Dr. King has been excellent. Her knowledge along with the knowledge the staff has, is exceptional. She treats the patient has a whole & looks at everything from head to toe to make sure the plan will benefit the patient.

In my opinion Dr. King is a one-of-a-kind alternative therapy dentist/orthodontist. I would travel to San Antonio from anywhere in Texas to have her care for my children. She and her staff are trust-worthy and all so knowledgeable and very kind and caring. Dr. King treats infants, toddlers, teenagers and even adults.

My two children and I have been patients of Dr. King for many years. She is so smart, always listening to us and giving us the most innovative and comprehensive treatment available. Her staff is always professional and willing to work with us on flexible appointments and payment plans.

The staff really cares and works tirelessly and professionally to take care of complicated situations. My broken tooth was not easy with problems so deep in the root. Dr. King and her associates went above and beyond to make sure the problem was correctly diagnosed and adequately treated.

20 years and 10 kids orthodontics with Dr King and her amazing staff have been greatly beneficial for our family. We made our kids' teeth, cranial rhythm, jaw development as they grow, sinus airways, and overall health a priority so they do not suffer like us parents are. No other dentist has the training, cutting edge technology, holistic mindedness, and so much more! Dr. King has been sensitive to our kids' needs, comfort, and consideration for their emotional well being to not scar them for life from invasive unnecessary dental procedures. Using appliances as kids grow instead of 2 years of braces at 12 years old like most dentists is a huge shift in thinking for society yet makes sense and so we are thankful for her bravery to try things and do everything she can for her patients. Her knowledge and procedure of doing a frenulectomy is another plus for her practice. She has saved so many breastfeeding babies!

Dr. Dana Hodge King has been a part of our lives since my now-adult son was one year old, and I can't imagine where we'd be without her! Everyone in the office has always been so friendly, helpful, professional, informative- and now coming to dental appointments feels more like visiting with old friends :) It was a safe, fun, relaxing place to bring a baby or little child for happy visits" and dental care, and is also wonderful for adults. My son has only ever had positive experiences, but still can get anxious about having work done, and they are amazing at keeping him calm and comfortable. Dr. King's approach- proactive, healthy, natural- has helped us so much with so many different health issues. I am grateful to have found a provider who keeps up with the newest cutting edge research and information and takes the time to explain everything for us.
