Club at Stone Oak Apartments

It is sad that I am writing one here because it doesn't help any to talk to the management of this place. They are argumentative, uncaring and unconcerned about Resident safety and other concerns. They act like they are doing us a favor by allowing us to live here.



If you are looking to move into the Stone Oak area, avoid this apartment complex!



Management changes every few months. With every change we seem to be getting ruder people to work at that office.



Everything about this place has been made inconvenient for the Resident.



Parking - horrible. No assigned parking but not even enough to accommodate 1 parking per unit!



Safety always a concern because there isn't adequate lighting and good luck to you if an exterior light goes out. It takes them over 6weeks to fix those. Why? Because we don't have ladders that tall!!! Really???? You are running an apartment complex?



Paying rent - inconvenient. No drop box! If you don't get to the office personally by the 2nd of the month, you get penalized. Not the 3rd or the 5th as is common practice, the 2nd of the month!!



Taking out the trash - inconvenient. Only 1 receptacle for the entire property.



Recycling - inconvenient. The recycling bin door is locked so you have to crush all your recyclables to fit into a small slot provided.



Maintenance is unresponsive. Eddie, one of the maintenance guy is very rude and argumentative.



I could go on and on but you get the point. Stay away from this place and save yourself a lot of hassle!

I would like to let everyone know that Club at Stone Oak is no longer an A+ property. I lived here 6 years ago and this was the place to move to. I have had issues since the day I moved in at the 1st of the year. The maint here sucks they do not know what they are doing. I have lived and worked at all properties around San Antonio even in the hood and this is worse than all of them. I know they let go of the old management team but this one is no better. It takes an act of congress to have someone pick up the phone in that office. Lights are out. I had asked for my wall on my bldg. to be painted as it looks like someone pooped on it and to repair the hole in the ceiling of the breezeway. Finally it got done which it too 5 mths to get it done. I hate to have guest over as it is embarrassing to show this property as a Stone Oak Property! This belongs over on the “Southside”!



I then my car got hit by the crappy gates that I told the office that morning about and nothing was done to them and it hit my car later that afternoon. Then they have the nerve to tell me to claim it on my insurance. Makes me wonder do they have insurance as they make us have it before we move in. I have been so unhappy here and to think I had my nephew move in here thinking the new company would turn things around. Maybe if you get your lazy staff off your payroll maybe the property would be better looking. I will not recommend anyone here to this place and as soon as my lease is up I’m out of here. NEVER have I been so unhappy where I live.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

The parking in this complex is HORRIBLE.. If you do park before 5 p.m., you will NOT have a place to park. The apartment has a contract with a towing company, so if you create a parking space, you will be towed.. You will pay your rent and pray each time your ride through the broken gate, that you will be able to find a parking spot. You will not have ANYwhere to park.

The leasing assistants will verbally tell you that there is a parking problem, once you have signed your lease, but when asked what is being done about it, no one can answer.

Basically, they allow non-renters to park in the spaces. Therefore, if you have groceries or bags to carry up stairs, you will have no place to park. You will have to park in the front of the complex and walk a long way to your apartment.

Heaven forbids if you are a female, who may get off work at night. You will have to walk a long way by yourself with a broken gate being open 6 out 7 days a week. Just walk fast and say a prayer that no one will try to rob you, etc.



The owner has a contract with a towing company, so it's a win-win for the owner to not do anything about parking.



If you decide to visit the leasing office, ask this question first:

1. Is it easy to find parking? (If they say anything remotely to "yes", please walk away. It is a lie.)



2. The walls are very thin. You can hear what other people are doing in there bedrooms. In addition, every time, someone runs water, you will hear it.



3. Every time, someone else flushes the toilet, the water runs through BOTH of my toilets. I have requested maintenance. They have come to fix it, but it still runs water, so much so that I have brown stains that have formed from other people's constant flushing.



DO NOT MOVE HERE. Don't spend money on an apartment each month and not have anywhere to park. When in fact, the management and owner can care-less if you find parking or not. There are better places in Stone Oak to move!!!!!!

Worst place ever.there is never any parking the management is eh okay they don't fix anything the gates are always broken and the walls are very thin you hear everything.. baby cockroaches in cabinets, dog s*** everywhere trash everywhere...renters harass people walking there dogs and take pictures of them so they can make money. kids are never watched and when i lived there i had kids burn my apartment door, and the grass by my apartment building, kids come knocking on my door at night with there pants down asking for toilet paper and people soliciting at 9:00-10:00 at night.When i moved out they sent me a bill of $600 for damage that i didn't do, and still fighting over..THIS PLACE IS HELL!!!!!!!

Military stay away! They should blacklist this place. Completely uncaring and borderline criminal business practices. I ignored others warnings because the apts are nice inside. BIG MISTAKE! Been working on my credit and they are screwing us bad. Even had the army housing office call on our behalf but was told they were rude and inflexible. Once again MILITARY FAMILIES DO NOT MOVE HERE!

MANAGEMENT SUCKS....the a/c in my apartment has gone out 6 times within the last year i was told it needed a new coil for it to functin properly. i brought it up to Kristy a, horrible excuse for a manager, that this was needed she told me that they were hesitant to order the piece because its so expensive...i told her so was my rent but its still expected on time so the piece needed to be ordered asap, being that my apartment is on the 3rd floor! IT NEVER HAPPENED..i followed up several times only to be told it was on back order followed by excuse after excuse...my a/c went out again so i called to speak with Kristy to ask why this is happening and why the problem still had not been fixed, all the dumb idiot could say was "she honestly forgot" she then continued to interrupt me...i finally asked for her boss' name and number and i have never gotten a call back regarding my complaint to him...not to mention they take DAYS to complete a work order the pool looks like crap and the gates NEVER work....i am so upset with this apartment and want it known it's not worth the time or money to live in this place to deal with a person like Kristy who doesnt care about her job or the people she is supposed to be there to help with problems such as these....

Tim would go out of his way to serve you! He is excellent and knows his people skills very well. You definetely would feel at home.
