I am originally from Alice, TX. We relocated to San Antonio, due my husband accepting a position up here. Our first born daughter was only 6 months old at the time, so I opted to stay home with her. After 3 years at home, it was time for me to get back to my hard working, career oriented roots. I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University Kingsville. I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech Pathology), with a minor in Psychology. I have always been a very studious individual, so when I put my resume out, and was approached by my FARMERS District Manager for a position, it was a no brainer. Time for a career change. I put it in GODs hands, and the rest is history. I absolutely love what I do! I can put in 12 hours a day, and it feels like I blinked and the time just flew by. I take great pride in interacting with my customers, and making them feel like they are truly a part of my insurance family, because they are, but it is important to me they feel it. The mission of the Elda Cavazos Agency is to make all our clients and impending clients feels as though they are a part of our family, rather than just a number.
