Bubba's Burgers & Fries

First off, Bubba's new hours are Thursday-Saturday 11-8. It is Family Owned and Operated. My family and I have been wanting to try this place and finally we got the chance. We drove up to the building which is a small white house and gravel parking lot. We arrived around 3pm and there were 4 other vehicles. We walked into the house which was filled with race car memorabilia and a gentleman at the counter where you place your order. The place was nice and cozy and people came and went with to go orders. I ordered the 1/4 pound burger with cheese, lettuce, tomatos, onions pickles, fries and a drink. The burger was delicious, very tasty and juicy. The meat was not dry and the vegetables were fresh. The french fries were cut just right and nice and warm. Most burger joints seem to think that they have to make a huge, over powered meat patty with an oversized bun ect....Bubba's burgers are just right and filling. They serve you in a basket and the burger is wrapped in white paper, so you don't make a mess. The staff was very friendly and seemed to know most customers that walked in. They seem very LOYAL to their customers. They also serve chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and I think I even saw a burrito on the menu. My family and I like to find the best burger joints and we've frequented many. I would have to say this burger is by far one of the best I've ever had.

Wow Dwag I too tried it because I had only heard good things about it then read your review. I got the chili fries and I have to tell you that chili is pretty damn good. It was canned but I didnt see any big signs promoting any "homemade" chili. I am pretty sure their burgers are what they are proud of and with reason!!! My husband got the double meat cheese burger combo and it was fabulous!!! You get a generous helping of fries also. my 2 kids got the jr combo I wouldnt call 3.50 pricey for a kids meal!! I dont think you can go anywhere else where you can get that kind quality of food for so cheap! The people were SUPER friendly when we walked in the girl behind the counter greeted us warmly and several people including the owner told us all thank you when we left. My 2 boys loved the Nascar theme but i loved the view outside the huge picture window in what the owner called "her room" We will definitely be going back for years to come!

Hey Dawg! Don't know what kind of mood you and your friends were in when you ate there, but I tell you, all in my party of 4 thought the food was great. Your comment is what made me go running to try Bubba's out; to see for myself!

I had the Cheeseburger Combo, consisting of Huge Burger, huge bun, with cheese, mayo, chili, pickles and onions, plus an extra one, and unsweeten ice tea - free refills. (Yes I WAS HUNGARY!).... My son had the chili cheese dog combo, plus and extra one also, with onion rings and coke; two friends each had the hamburger combo with the usual condiments, plus fries (good ones, not HEB Orida type), very good and tasty. We would go back again, also recommend it. Chili did have the "can taste" but it was still good..........(haven't found a chili yet that tastes like the kind we cook in Lexington, NC; nor the Lexington BBQ - I just can't get use to the smokey taste in the TX BBQ)... but it's good if not too smokey to me. Come on, give it another chance. Everyone I told about your review, there in the restrauant, couldn't believe it, they thought I was wrong, etc., thinking it was another Bubbas.......... SEEMS THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD LIKES TO EAT THERE.........By the time we got through with our order, people were lined up to the front door and around tables............

was not that great, went with a group of friends and all had the same comment too pricey for the quality of the food. the fries looked like the ones from heb orida's, the chili was for sure canned chili.. wont be going back to that place.
