Alamo City Arbor Care

These guys are amazing!! I had called 3 different companies for estimates and 2 out of these 3 "no showed" on me. The third one said they could do it in a month and were the most expensive of the estimates. I was walking in my neighborhood one day and I saw an Alamo City Arbor Care truck driving by and I stopped them for a card. I'm SO glad I did!! I gave them a call and they came out and gave me a reasonable estimate. Then they were able to do the work on the same day!! John and his crew were very nice and professional, which really means a lot to me since I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old. I was very pleased with their work! I would recommend them to anyone!!

I was trying to decide between this company and another for tree trimming. I was assured by this company the live oak tree branches trimmed would be sprayed to prevent oak wilt. Well, only a few places were sprayed, many were left open. Also, I noticed many, many small sprigs still remaining and told the supervisor when he arrived at the end of the job. He told ME to tell the workers which ones to trim. Also, I had to ask for a walk through before they left because there were branches and twigs left on the ground. Again I was told to show the workers the missed cuttings. I didn't think that should have been my job the tell the workers things they didn't do. That should be the supervisor's job. I certainly wasn't being paid to do his job, I was doing the paying. The workers also dropped their gas blower on my grass and it killed the grass in that area. I informed the company of this, but nothing was done to fix the problem.

It's a sad day when you can't even rely on a company to do a good, complete job. I assumed they would be better than an independent, but were not.
