        I took my f250 there to get an estimate on some axle work and fix fuel leak on my engine. They charged me $411. to replace a $60 part (that can be bought for $24 dollars online) This part was held on by 4 screws.

        I paid the bill and left with the estimate for the axle services they offered. I found that all the parts they offered to replace were marked up 100% to 300% from what i could buy it for. Not only that but they suggested in the estimate replacing parts that were in perfectly serviceable condition. I guess they were thinking i was some kind of idiot with too much money in his pocket.. The estimate was $6,064. I only paid $4800 for the truck.

        I cant say they are dishonest because they will give you an estimate of how much they will rip you off to fix your car. If your looking to get honest value this is not the place to go. I just feel sorry for all the suckers that take their car there that don't know any better.

        Excellent Service! My name is Sai. I've been a customer with A+ Transmissions for about 2 years now. I bought a clunker ('95 What Mazda Protege- 5 Speed) from my dad about 2yrs ago (2008). The car already had some issues. The first job A+ did for me was an axle repair job. Ron was the first person I met when I arrived. They sent a tow truck to pick up my vehicle without asking for any money up front! They knocked that job pretty quick. After that, I finally decided to get my thermostat fix, water pump and radiator. Thank God I didn't have a cracked head. Anyway the price was great and my car never overheated again. Until 18mos later (Nov 2010). I took it in and the problem was not caused by any previous work they performed. It simply was a hose the was clamping. Because I was a repeat customer and the problem was so simple, they didn't even charge me for it. Thx guys! Twitter.com/FollowSaien

        JUST PROBLEMS...................

        I have a chevy impala and a year ago i needed my tran. rebuilt now im having problems funny how my warranty just ended, they charged 1500 ive changed my trans. oil twice in the year, both times its been black as motor oil so i guess now that they got me no lube style hopefully they dont screw you.



        sincerly,the SUCKER with the broken trans.

        Am a repeat customer because I have found honest, reputable, and high quality service.

        Am female, was new to area and looking for mechanic to perform maintenance services, called them. Never before have I been asked to come in and meet the owner and see "what I thought." Did so and have been using A+ for four years now. Have only good things to say and do not dread visits to the shop. I encourage all who are looking for logical and reasonable automotive work to visit A+ Transmission.
